I hear what you’re saying but BC gave me mad anxiety and I felt I was losing it sometimes. It did help clear my skin somewhat but for me personally I can’t do it. No, it is not a progesterone only pill unfortunately. I also suffered from migraines and this pill helped me significantly with them. Please talk to a professional and get blood work done before taking anything though. A solution is out there, whether it’s this or not. Spironolactone can be prescribed by a dermatologist for hormonal acne. It’s actually a blood pressure medication but it happens to help topical resistant acne, just have to monitor drops in BP. for those on this thread like me who have a contraindication to combination BC, might be worth looking into winlevi (clascoterone). it’s a topical anti-androgen (the Time for Tacos Trump always Chicken out shirt Furthermore, I will do this reason BC works for skin is the anti-androgenic effects of the estrogen) Birth control did absolutely nothing for my acne. Yaz gave me a blood clot that almost killed me. Please be mindful that this an extremely risky form of birth control, particularly if you’ve ever smoked or have blood clotting factors. My doctor told me not to use that for acne and to only use it with debilitating pms symptoms.
