The higher up the chain you go, the more impersonal the deals become and become more of a sale of “freight” without any immediate/personal sales being a consideration. It may be broken down and sold to smaller and smaller dealers multiple times before it makes it to the customer/user. Only takes a single shitty person to omit the truth and/or lie about purity for it to skip the tracks.
