It’s happened to me a few times in Aldi – which is a bit different to other supermarkets because they’re famous for scanning all your stuff really fast. You’re supposed to put it all back in the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this trolley and then go over to a big shelf area to pack it properly (even at other places, having someone bag your stuff for you isn’t really a thing here like I think it is in the US). I think some people don’t deal with the pace and pressure very well. I’ve literally had to say to people ‘I’m going to need more room than that, can you back up a bit?’ two or three times. And for a Brit, that’s a lot to do. That’s how aldi is here too. And having someone bag for you isnt really a thing here anymore in a lot of places. If they do have baggers its reflected in the prices It’s nice to give people the benefit of the doubt. Feel like that’s happening less and less, people just jump to assuming the worst about each other.

Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt: Perfect for Fans

Something I hate even more though, is when my brain just checks out early and I forget to put it down for the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this next person. I apologise and feel suitably embarrassed. Less of an arsehole than the people who put the bar down and start unloading their shopping before the person in front has finished unloading. Do you think I’m not paying for the rest of the stuff in my trolley? I don’t get it. I got into a full blown slagging match with a woman who put her full trolley in the till aisle then fucked off to finish her shopping. I waited about a minute then went round the abandoned trolley to pay for my couple of itens. She came back and went absolutely mental about me “pushing in” She kept screaming and going on about me touching her trolley to get past it, it was in an Iceland food warehouse with really wide aisles I didn’t need to move it, she then tried to get her son involved I’m a stocky 6’5 heavily tattooed man her son was mid 20s and didn’t make eye contact nor make a single sound when his tramp of a mother was goading him to get involved. I gave back as good as I got with her and at one point she told me if Dylan was there he’d have “ripped my fucking head off” fuck knows who Dylan is!!
I work in a Tesco and whenever a customer does this, I always encourage people with few items or baskets to cut in front because it just doesn’t make sense to bring your whole trolley to a till when you’re clearly not ready. I’m not talking about “oh, I forgot one item, can you tell me where it is so I can get it quickly?” That’s perfectly fine. I’m talking about those who put their trolleys there and then walk away without letting me know what they’re trying to get, only to come back with like a billion more items five minutes later or longer. It’s great when the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this person with the trolley comes back as I’m serving someone else who I waved forward in the queue, because then they start to argue about being there first when they clearly weren’t done shopping.

Step by step to buy Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt

Exactly this. Good for you for doing that. I bet it infuriates the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this pieces of shit that abandon their trollies, From the legends I have heard about the UK and queueing I am surprised everyone involved wasn’t summarily beaten on the spot. I’ve had this happen a few times when I lived in Peckham, always a certain demographic and female and would happily get into a major argument when you pushed back. I’m sorry, you can’t arrive in a store, stick your basket by the till and then collect your items and expect to be able to walk to the front. F off. I’m okay with someone unpacked, mid aisle and quickly running to get a forgotten item, but if no one in the queue recognises you, get to the back
you shouldve taken some of the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this items in her trolley and bought it for yourself. aint stealing if she hasnt paid the people who put the bar down and start unloading their shopping before the person in front has finished unloading. I’m never quite sure what they’re hoping to achieve. I mean, unloading the stuff – and leaving me to unload individual items from my trolley directly to the cashier – isn’t going to get them through the checkout any quicker. If anything it’ll take a lot longer. I honestly just can’t get excited about this, is it just me? If they’re clearly done I can just as easily grab it myself. Really never noticed or crossed my mind to care. So many petty things that people squabble about. I mean, see if the person in front puts one down. If they don’t, do it yourself when you’re within reach. It’s not that hard. This is so so British. In Germany it is very normal not to. You often have to do your own bar. The proactivity in recycling and beer choices makes up for this shocking inconvenience. I really struggle with this in Germany. I usually end up doing both as I just don’t know the social rule. It’s funny, because my experience is that Germans get very hung up on social rules but the super market queuing system and putting down the bars is carnage to me. If a new till is opened it’s all out stampede. Guess every country has their own customs. I grew up in a world where you put your shopping down and then put the bar down to signify you had finished and the next person could start putting their shopping down behind you.
It’s an absolutely unhinged perspective for an outsider, I can tell you that. I use the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this bar as needed, but I’ve never once considered that others were lesser or doing something wrong for not using it. Just not important, or even notable, at all. You are creating your own suffering, my friend. I‘m very conflicted about them, on the one hand they are useful for separating your shopping and I appreciate people using them, but on the other sometimes I can‘t always reach them to put them down until the queue moves and I can sense the person next in line wishing bad things on me for not doing it. Even worse when they make a big gesture of walking round me to go and get one instead of waiting for a few minutes.
Occasionally I find myself in a position of needing a shopping divider, not being within reach of one, and then realising there is a spare one at the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this opposite checkout and pinching that one. I always feel terribly clever and heroic, like I demonstrated quick thinking in a crisis. My Lidl often has a shortage of dividers and I always leave a substantial gap and let the next customer behind me know with a quick ‘no dividers left’ and eye-roll/tut haha I know it’s stupid but it’s one of those things that instantly make me decide you’re a dick. Like people who sit on the outside of a bus seat to indicate they’re going to take both spots. I agree on the shopping till dividers but the bus seat tactic is valid as long as it’s not packed bus because sometimes you’ll get some weirdo who decides to sit right next to you when there’s loads of empty seats available.
When I used to catch the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this bus to work, there was a older woman who would always sit next to me regardless of seat availability. I’d have earphones in and she’d keep tapping my arm because she wanted to talk to me. I’d answer whatever she said and put my earphones back in but she’d just keep doing it. Woman was relentless It’s the little things that matter. They add up. And before you know it, you are driving a white range rover with private plates thinking it’s everyone else who’s wrong. You know whose worse? People who put their stuff down before the person in front of them has finished unloading their trolley. I only put it down if someone is behind me in the queue, once I’ve finished unloading my trolley. Tbh never gave much of a shit what others do.
If there is no-one behind you, there is no need. However, the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this proper etiquette is when someone comes behind and puts their first item on the belt, you look at them, quickly grab one, place it down, smile at them and they say thanks. If they don’t say thanks, you stare at them as you slowly remove the bar and place it far away from their reach. Of course, you run the risk of buying some of their items but it is a risk you have to be willing to take. Seconding this here. If they do not say thank you, you pick it up and put it back without breaking eye contact. The trolley test is better I think . But I do agree it’s along the same lines . The supermarket has many ways of outing the worst people in society
English isn’t my first language so I’m learning new words like this daily is it like a chemistry term that’s got a new meaning over time? Up there with people who just leave their trolley in the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this space next to their car instead of returning it to its little house. This is why I agree with the whole ‘quid in the trolley’ thing, yeah it might be annoying if you don’t have change on hand or one of the trolley tokens but I find that people that leave trolleys laying around a carpark are the people that care enough to put it back for their pound. It’s like not indicating in a car, some people just seem to enjoy inconveniencing other people in such minor petty ways. I always indicate but I can’t say I’ve ever been inconvenienced by someone who didn’t either indicate or put a next customer bar down. Do you live in a place with no roundabouts or junctions? I live near a place known as “Home of the roundabout” coz they’re fucking everywhere. People not indicating on roundabouts is a ballache. I just wondered what kind of strange French word “ bal-ash” was and why I’ve never seen it before , what is going on It’s a tough one how many items is too little? it feels a bit daft when they only have a tin of spaghetti and a yorky
It’s a very British thing. I had no idea that I was supposed to do it, in my country the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this next person can just come and do it themselves. I do not care about this , never have . I personally never touch them but I have severe ocd , a lot of people might not want to touch them , in my Lidl and b&m they’re usually grey with dirt Or the people when the cashier (me) says something like ‘you alright?’ Or ‘hey’ and get absolutely no acknowledgment whatsoever , happens far too much it’s depressing The assholes who unload the trolley into their car and just push it away in a random direction can get to fuck. Kinda think that’s why some places have coin release trolleys now, and you have to return it to a specific area, and lock with others to get your one pound coin back. They definitely comply then! Yeah they’re the way forward. I have a token from an Auchan in France from 25 years ago that fits in the slot and I’ve become so attached to it I always return my trolley. They’re going to the same circle of hell as the people who recline airplane seats and those who won’t let you out of a junction when they can AND pull forward into the gap in the stationary traffic you could have pulled out into. And the ones turning into the narrow junction that you’re waiting to turn out of – who then proceed to get angry that you’re in the way and there’s not enough room for them. I really enjoy using the slow clap & unflinching eye contact manoeuvre when they do this in the road near me.
When someone hogs the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this middle lane on the motorway, I pull up to the outside, turn my indicators on super early so it’s flashing next to their head, and proceed to slowly move into their lane, then lane 1. Sad thing is most probably have no idea what it means. It is possibly the most infuriating thing I ever experience in a trip to the supermarket other than people who turn out to be friends with the person on the till and spend the next 5 minutes catching up whilst all the people waiting to pay have to stand and listen to what happened with Brenda and her 4 kids. I’m a Brit in the U.S. and I’m usually the only one that uses the bar. Sometimes they don’t even have one so I lose my mind!!! What about when the person on the till doesn’t push the bars down the shelf so you can’t pick one up without reaching right over someone else’s shopping…that should warrant a verbal warning.
It doesn’t bother me too much but it is good line etiquette. I was in Aldi on Monday and had a small row because someone was trying to push ahead of me and others because she had 4 items and I had all my stuff on the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this conveyer belt already, the guy behind the till told her to go to the back of the queue so she dumped her stuff and walked out. I often let people go ahead of me in those situations if they’re directly behind me but there were like 3 people behind me before her and she had no consideration for them at all. One time I saw a bloke shout at this young couple because they were packing their shopping as it came to them and being super slow and he points to a sign up the top and says “LOOK OVER THERE, IT SAYS PACK YOUR SHOPPING AT THE BENCH, YOU’RE SLOWING THINGS DOWN” I find it worse when people don’t put the divider down but they set their items so close to the person in front so I start scanning their items too, and then they’re like “No that’s mine, not theirs. Can’t you see the gap?” No I can’t because you only left like two centimetres of space between you and the person in front of you
Like either leave a decent gap for me to see when I should stop scanning or put the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this divider down. And don’t get angry at me when I start scanning your shopping too. Where I’m from this isn’t a huge thing because everyone leaves enough space between items to signal that it’s someone else’s items. This sort of thing usually isn’t a problem and people don’t lose sleep over it not being used. I often forget to place the bar down because it’s not a usual thing where I’m from. People (the next shopper in line) will use it when they have a lot of groceries or items to separate from the shopper before them, but besides that, people don’t really use them. Regardless, I did not actually think that people get this bent out of shape if I forget to (which I often do), or other forget to… I get more annoyed by there not being enough on the tills so they end up not pushing all the way to where you are loading. And by cashiers who don’t push them along.
Old enough to remember shopping before these existed. It was mostly just to help inattentive checkout staff from grabbing the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this next persons items. Made it quicker for the store to just whizz the punters through. We used to just leave a gap and that was good enough. I still think it’s daft to get even remotely bothered by it but I do play along and put them down as I know there are loads of people now who have been trained to only use them and I don’t want them to create more anxiety. I assume that someone who can’t put it down for themselves or who forgets to is an unorganised person who can’t be trusted as far as i can throw them. I immediately judge them as scum. I bet they also park their car across two spaces and never return the trolley. They are the ones that take stuff out of the fridge and leave it in the tinned aisle.
I never understood why when I put it down the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this person behind me always says “thank you”. Isn’t it my responsibility to put it down? Otherwise I’m going to be paying for your items..? I assume that if there’s one whole foot between pile of my stuff and the previous customer’s stuff, a normally functioning brain should be able to tell they’re 2 different orders without any supplemental demarcation. You must hate me, I don’t put one down between the person in front, I just leave a gap….. you can see this proper fucks with the head of old ladies, they keep glancing at the lack of bar…….its only a matter of time before they freak out and walk over to put a bar down! I almost never put it down. I find the panic that ensues fascinating. When they turn around a notice that I haven’t done it. The prospect of my Tesco’s finest sausage rolls accidentally being scanned as one of their items.
I love driving people mental with this … I don’t put a bar down in front or behind my stuff but I leave an obvious little gap … and indicate to the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this cashier when to stop for both before me and after me unless some other raging shopper puts it there themselves. I dont know if its just me, but whenever I put one down it feels aggressive. Here is a definite and tangible line between my stuff and your stuff, both physically and socially. Here is a stark reminder of how separate we are from one another. There is your stuff, here is my stuff, i dont want your stuff to be mistaken for my stuff. You are not part of my tribe. Even worse is after I’ve put my shopping on the conveyor and put my bar down someone comes along and moves the bar so it is up close to my shopping – obviously with the intention of putting thier groceries next to that. Sorry, but my groceries need thier own space, just like me! 2 things that don’t matter here (a) Who puts down the ‘next customer’ bar down and (b) What you think of anyone.
Dude I’m usually in my own fucking world in the Team Penske Black Joey Logano 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Vintage Shirt moreover I love this supermarket. It’s vaguely stressful for me so I just shut down and get on with it. I’ve literally walked past family members saying my name in supermarkets because I’m just tunnel visioned on a mission for sausages and bread or whatever. Like the people who start to put their shopping on the belt when you haven’t finished unloading yours and you run out of space. You have to recognise the spotlight effect! That personal be going through some shit and is on autopilot. Sometimes people are arseholes but don’t assume the worst. This is it for me too , I personally cannot have various people touching all my stuff so I go to self checkouts , there’s too much light and sensory stuff going on and people sometimes are panicking through their shop , let alone what kind of day you might have had
