If you can’t respect teachers and your classmates – YOU DO NOT GET TO RUIN their LIVES. No one should have that power despite their IEP or accommodations. Nor should teachers in a general classroom of 20-40 kids be forced to control one or two kids out of their minds at the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this deficit of the learning of 38 kids who know how to behave and respect the teacher. A social contract between the school and parents – saying your child must meet these criteria to attend in behavior and manner. A social contract written at the same time between the student and the school admin saying “I AGREE” to this behavior contract and rules. And after 3 violations – I’m out” Despite IEPS or Behavior in all classes. Special Ed – should be behavioral and physically disabled in separate places. Any child with a keen mind, but a body that doesn’t work so well – should be in a classroom with other kids and an aid if needed. If the MIND does not work well and is a danger or problem to learning – they need a special classroom or to work from home with a tutor or a special school even.
Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt, hoodie, tank top, long sleeve tee
Behavioral Education – should be a thing – for kids on the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this edge of SPED, but intelligence is high, but have one of the clusters of PTSD, CPSTD, OCD, Oppositional Disorder, Sociopathy, Psychopathy, Spectrum disorders (only with violent tendencies,) delayed structural learning disabilities, and/or can’t get along with other children/teachers need a Behavior break or a Behavior boot camp for training on expectation, life skills, coping skills, and required psychological treatments as needed BEFORE returning them to the classroom. Until of course – things stabilize and teachers aren’t being chased from classrooms OR being blamed for individual student behavior, parent’s abuse or lack of childrearing skills, and overall – brain/character/cognitive damage from inadequate ECE teaching & care plus missing early health/mental assessments.
Here is a thought exercise: if you offered parents a “free day care but your child will not receive credit towards a diploma” option how many of them would choose that? I’m guessing a higher number than most people would imagine. The are very few micro interventions that will tackle the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this macro issue at hand. Parents are the issue but not in the way most people think. We are seeing the first time in American history where the lowest income bracket are having significantly more children. Larger gaps so teachers who are college educated are teaching vastly more at schools that differed from their own. Is it really the case that the lowest income bracket is having more children compared to previous periods? Is there data to show that? Throughout history, in this country and globally, more education and higher income have been associated with lower birth rates.

Where to buy this Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt
Yes the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this middle income brackets realize they can’t afford kids and have the lifestyle that they want. The lowest just don’t care, can’t get much worse. We could try capitalism but maybe not in the absolute worst form as we have now where corporate power blocks and lobbyists control society in a non -democratic manner. We could try paying people a fair wage rather than extracting as much surplus value as possible from every system in society until nothing functions properly. Your kid has D and F? Take away all the shit they love (phone, gaming systems, their expensive sneakers if they have them) until they improve those grades Yep that’s it . Right there. I’m so sick of having kids literally give the finger and not doing anything – then go home to a 500 k house with every gadget ever, their special expensive lacrosse team , and all outfits over 100 bucks. Then having said parents say – well what more can the school do ?
Class size. I have classes of 36 right now and outside of maybe PE no high school class should be near there and I am in an amazing district is arguably the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this best state to be a teacher in and I am paid very well (92k, year 10, no Masters). I shutter to think how bad it is going in places that struggle to get teachers in the door. A large portion of the issues we see can be boiled down to the private healthcare system absolutely burying people. It’s one of the reasons that parents are overworking, it’s a source of economic anxiety. Yes, there are kids being raised by a screen, we have all seen them, but we don’t often acknowledge that these parents are being worked to the bone and privatized health care is one of the causes of it. How many people do you know that cannot lose their job because they cannot lose their health care?
It’s a huge economic drain on all of us as well, I am paying almost $1300 a month for mine, that one would be a gigantic pay bump without the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this district expenses going up. It would also make mental health services more accessible for all of us in the process. I don’t even consider myself to be a particularly liberal person, but I don’t see how this isn’t an instant win on anything brought before voters and a political death sentence to oppose in any legislature. Privatized health care is such a net drain on the economy, you could argue it is a national security issue at this point As someone who did 8 years in the Army, it is a national security issue. A very small number of people in the right age range are eligible for military service. I had undiagnosed ADHD when I joined and even though I had a good career it would have prevented me from joining. But when I got assessed by Army doctors they started treatment and it was no big deal. Things like anxiety and depression, treatable. Obesity, probably the biggest one. Treatable. I’ve had some soldiers who could barely read when they joined. That’s not even an issue, we’ll teach them. I had a very professional senior NCO who still had me proof read all his stuff because he was still really rough around the edges with spelling and grammar. But he had really good reading comprehension. I had a soldier who was very obviously at least moderate on the ASD spectrum. He kept to himself and needed a bit more one on one training but once he learned the ins and outs of the job he was great. He struggled socially but I still took the time to talk to him, and he eventually got adopted by a group of friends.
I developed a really rare autoimmune disease while I was in, and I probably would have died if I was a civilian. In the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this military if you’re ill you are expected to leave work for all medical appointments and you can actually be punished for missing appointments and wasting doctors time. You get quarters if you’re infectious, an order you can’t refuse. Your supervisors and bosses can’t interfere with your medical stuff at all, in fact if they are found to be guilting soldiers for leaving work to make appointments, they will be punished. I always told them it was much more efficient to take a few hours here and there away from work than to let their issues fester which will affect the mission later, and take even longer periods to fix. And that included mental health. It was always insane to ponder that very few civilians had the same privileges and job security to tackle medical problems head on. And pay nothing for the medications we were prescribed. I have no idea how much Adderall costs and I don’t have to find out, since I medically retired.
Start teaching what you know needs to be taught, how it needs to be taught even if you aren’t really supposed to. Stop teaching the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this curriculum, the standards and “to the test.” You have power. Claim it. ELA: Teach phonics and spelling. Assign novels starting in 3rd grade. Discuss in class. When you teach poetry focus on mechanics not interpretation. Avoid nonfiction. Starting in 4th grade, assign 1 research paper each year with no internet sources allowed; kids desperately need to know how to use books, how to quickly scan texts for relevant info and how to identify and use key words. In high school there should be at least 2 novels per semester and additional short readings besides. Math: Base intro lessons should always teach the standard algorithms. That is the most efficient way to reach the most students. You can branch out from there but other methods DO NOT WORK well above 3 digits. Your true goal is to teach facility with base 10 so it doesn’t matter if students can use calculators for routine arithmetic in daily life. Using physical objects as teaching tools works well for arithmetic. Repetition is key. You must assign lots of rote problems for practice – at least 2/3 of the available time before moving on to related word problems. “Understanding” is a nebulous goal so don’t go down that rabbit hole. If they can solve a multi step or word problem, they have demonstrated understanding. They don’t need to also write about it in sentences. Late 2nd-early 4th grade: devote the last 5 minutes of every class to class recitation of the multiplication table. Teach measurement as a gateway to fractions/decimals and center lessons on the familiar – currency, cooking, home projects.
Nothing matters in the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this higher grades more than taking away the cell phones, iPods, tablets, smart watches, ect. The school might as well have a huge bowl of edibles for the kids to indulge on their way into classes, between classes, during lunch, in the restrooms, next to the water fountain, on their way home …. Out of my 100 plus students, 80% or more show signs of severe addiction to the DOPE-amine rush from accessing social media, chats, games, movies, tik-toc and more. The Federal government needs to create some sort of massive financial package kind of like the Infrastructure one that went through with Biden but even bigger. Something that will allow schools to receive the funds to operate well and also funds to update everything so students can get the best education possible and teachers don’t have to spend out of pocket to provide a better education. Also the pay for all teachers Preschool thru high school needs to be forcefully increased across the country so that teachers stay in the work force and quit less often. This also comes with letting them teach the way they want to teach and having parents sit down and shut up and stop complaining to the administration of the school that little Johnny/Susie is always an angel at home and doesn’t do anything wrong. A law needs to be passed that forces school administration to side with teachers not parents. That is rotting our schools and teachers are letting kids coast through school because they have given up and don’t want to get bad reviews because they hold kids back a grade for not passing which in turn decreases the grade of the school because they have less students graduating. The system is completely broken and backwards now. I don’t know specifically how we start the things I mentioned above but something drastic has to change. I cannot believe kids are graduating high school while having a reading level that of child in grade school. That can’t even be possible.
Devices can not be on their person during the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this school day. If they need to have them because they have practice or afterschool reasons, they need to be secured in an office somewhere. It made a huge difference at my school. Like night and day. Families need to make more money and be OTE financially secure. They need to be able to work less and spend more time with their own kids. There have to be real consequences, no matter how little or big the issue. Parents are going to have to deal with their own children, they will not improve otherwise. They are my student for 40 mins a day. They are yours for a lifetime, the problems your child has will be only compound if left unchecked and untreated. I had one of my choir students come up and tell me today choir is the only thing that makes her happy in school these days.
Stop basing will funding off of local property taxes. Creates massive gaps between schools in rich areas and ones in poor areas. And it would hopefully remove incentives to keep problem students in classes just so that the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this daily attendance fund stays topped up Installing air filters in classrooms has surprisingly large educational benefits $1,000 can raise a class’s test scores by as much as cutting class size by a third. I can’t find the study anymore. But in that area because of how subs were paid and who was paying them it was found that any money spent on cleaning the air actually saved the school board money because of the decreased need for subs. Smaller class sizes at every level makes a huge difference. My school gave me 3 classes of one prep last year with around 25 students each. This year they reduced it to 2 classes with 35+ students each. It is really disheartening how much less I can do for students this year than last year. Parents are emailing me about how their kids 504s thrive in a calmer and quieter class environment and I’m like, there are 36 kids in this class. All the desks are full. I can’t give any student anywhere close to the time and attention they need. I see teacher bloggers for my same subject posting and they will be like, I have a large class this year with 15 kids! God the education I could give if I only had 15 kids in a class. But the people in charge of my district honestly believe that large class sizes are a good thing, if a class dips below 25 students they threaten to cut it because it isn’t “popular enough.” God forbid someone fucking learns something on this campus.
There should be an agreement that for the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this moment we are going to focus on a small number of critical standards. For elementarybthisnwould include fact fluency, fractions, multi-digit operations, and basic geometry. For middle school, all the elementary standards should be rechecked, and only when they are mastered should students move on to basic algebra, decimals, area and volume, proportions, and similarity. For high school, recheck all the prior standards and don’t move on until they are mastered. Add in linear equations, polynomials, radicals, exponents, and the basics of plane geometry. Math teachers need the following support: a) progress monitoring tools for the identified standards above, b) scripted intervention tools, such as SpringMath.com, c) a school-wide math interventionist who assists classroom teachers in implementing and monitoring the interventions and progress monitoring tools, d) two hours of daily planning, e) regular PD from instructional experts who only present results that come from randomized control studies
I know the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this plan above will never happen but that is an indictment of our educational system. Would everything I propose work? Would it result in better educational outcomes? Better success in college and careers? Yet it won’t happen and seems unrealistic. It’s infuriating. Better sex education. Some of the parents I worked with had a ton of kids! Kids they did not want and could not take care of. We need to provide them better sex education and access to birth control. We need to better support new parents. Paid leave for moms and dad. Kids need to bond with their parents. Developmentally it is very important. And high quality and affordable preschools and daycares!! With quality people !! A lot of preschools and daycares hire literally anyone.
I taught kindergarten for a few years. And as sad as it is to say, some kids you could already tell were likely not going to make it. They had never seen a book. Never held a crayon. Ect All these are great solutions. But most importantly, parents need to value their kids education. I’m a strong reader because my mom read to me from such an early age. It’s going to be hard to make progress until parents are willing to help their child learn. From an OT- early intervention is key. We need resources for parents that are easily accessible. This is important both medically and academically. When in school we need developmentally appropriate programs. I think admin forgets or doesn’t understand that kids will progress faster if they have appropriate foundational skills… at bare minimum play-based and explorative learning for K-1. Also, we need to assume kindergartners haven’t been in school before their first day of school. With the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this cost of childcare it’s not uncommon for kids first time in a group with 15 other kids is their first day of kindergarten. And as much as the curriculum wants them to know their uppercase letters, basic colors, and numbers up to 10 before matriculation, they don’t. We’re setting them up for failure by having them start “behind”
Taking power from administration and state gov. These are not our friends and their policy is destructive to what little good we can do. Phonics needs to be taught from K-5, with only basic comprehension skills. Get rid of Common Core, NCLB and state testing. Math needs to be basic skills k-5, computation of all operations, basic problem solving, telling analog time and counting money. No more elapsed time and equations. Get the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this government/politics out of education. Nobody should be allowed to be on the school board if they aren’t in or were in education. Make all parents volunteer in their child’s school the way charter schools do. More parent involvement means better kids. School should start earlier. We’ve lost the battle that learning should happen at home. I knew all my letters, numbers to 20, how to write my name and the name of everyone in my family, and my phone number and address before I ever touched a school. I was doing some reading as well. My parents were drop outs, but even their parents had done the same. My grandmother manage to do this for her sons as a single mother, an immigrant, and an 8th grade drop out. Now the websites don’t even mention these things on “what to do to prepare your kid” because they gave up on it. “Knows how to tie shoes” is under “recommended” not “required”. They hope the kid can talk and wipe their ass and even that isn’t a certainty. So start school at 3. Expect daytime potty training with minor accidents only before then, but as soon as a child is supposed to be learning much of anything, put them in school. There ECE specialists do what parents are supposed to. Most parents would probably be okay with it if it meant free daycare sooner.
For the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this kids who are already in school, tracking. Intense tracking. I know it’s not very “inclusion” of me, but when I have a girl who doesn’t know her sounds and a boy who reads at a 12th grade level in the same room, neither of them is being well served. I also saw someone comment “gifted is just SPED in a different way. It’s where you put the ND kids so they can be weird without messing up the other kids” and that’s super true. The number of smart kids who give in to every impulse because they finish their work with time to be a menace is huge. Extremely behind. These students are more than half their current grade level behind. They have no access to grade level standards at their current skill level. Their focus is on building gaps in the basics, and hopefully moving up eventually.
I don’t care how many or how few students are in those categories in a given building, they need to be present. I’d be willing to take 3 preps in middle school if if meant that our gifted kids could actually do more than sleep through class or be a menace every day. Smaller class sizes as well. Obviously. Cap them at 18 kids. Period. No exceptions. if you get a bunch of transfers, then the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this academic coach will take a class until you can find a teacher. To do this of course, there needs to be flexible funding. Not “one week at the start of the year decides how much you get paid” There’s a lot more but I think these are easy things that could be done. They would be expensive but for the price of like two planes we could save the future of the nation. One of the biggest issues is the nature and purpose of school. Education feels like it is second priority behind simply providing childcare. This seemed very apparent during covid.
With that said, in an ideal scenario, I think a big boost to the Stitch all i do is work and sleep but i never have any money and i’m always tired shirt besides I will buy this education system would be to have classes balanced based on the abilities of the students rather than their age. If children of similar abilities and proficiencies could be in classes together, I feel that their learning experience would improve. Going by abilities is a better idea in larger districts than smaller. I’m not sure the social emotional level of the 14 year old who reads as well as a second grader will respond to the same instruction and environment as that 8 year old. Maybe +/- a grade or year could work developmentally I really take issue with blaming parents. Parents are doing the best they can with the skills they have. Even the worst ones. Why don’t we assume they are doing their best? Who doesn’t love their kids and want the best for them? I’ve yet to meet a parent that didn’t want that even if they didn’t know how.
