Here we are 4 years later I’m down 100 pounds, got a new job that I love paying more than double (maybe even triple?) my shit one, I feel like I have 10 times the Spirited away ghiblI japanese style vintage classic shirt but in fact I love this amount of energy throughout the day, I’m 5 times more confident, and I have a girlfriend now. For me it was never like, “Let me start going to the gym 5 times a week” or something. It was more, “Let me start doing this 1 little thing / build this new good habit this month” and at the end of each year I was doing 12 good new things. After several years here we are at a point where I’m just juggling 30-40 (some habits turned out to be not the best and have dropped off) of my rules / good habits which creates the illusion that I’m living by a few bigger and broader rules like “Go to the gym 5 days a week and eat <2000 calories a day". It's really not, its just a bunch of small things that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. I hope all of that makes sense, I feel like I kinda rambled on but it's what changed my life.

The day I finally weighed in 100 pounds down I went out and bought myself the watch. Heck at the time it was more expensive than a whole paycheck for me. I have grown to enjoy the idea of being healthy and just working to better myself every single day. Also, I am a very busy person between working full-time and being in school full-time so working out daily helps me relieve stress and makes me happy.
