My wife is 35 and I’m 38. We didn’t think we could have kids biologically and weren’t really wanting to adopt. Surprise! We have a three wk old daughter as of yesterday and today is our 14th wed. anniversary. I used to think it was just because dad is often the Ring Bearer I Paused My Game For This Controller Gamer T-Shirt but in fact I love this one that is not home all day, but I’ve since learned of several dad’s that stay at home with mum, or more than mum. Very often, dad magic is real for them too. Admittedly, I’m a fucking Neanderthal. I have like 3 emotions total and I can only process one at a time. My daughters on the other hand have about 3 million and they all hit simultaneously like a damn Nazi blitzkrieg. How much much harder to clean a baby girl vs a boy. Also, how much easier it is for the girl to get rashes, and how to and not to clean them… I as like “damn, girls got it rough!” That I was a piece of shit for how I treated women. I had my first daughter at 17, my second at 19. I very quickly changed my ways. I’m so sorry it took that to change me. As a single dad, I raised two fucking awesome young women. Both have their masters, both married to awesome young men, and both better than me.
