And, for all the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt In addition,I will do this ridiculousness of the rest of Twitter argument, the whole “Rupaul Industrial Complex” concept kind of resonates. I’m just spitballing…. As a season, I would love baby queens, or those who’ve never been in drag, to team up with a more experienced queen as a mentor. Think Secret celebrity drag race minus the celebrity with more contestants. I like the idea that different drag mothers either pick from a group of auditioned queens and teach them the ways of drag OR they pick a complete amateur from their stock (Let’s say close friends or even a blood relative) and have them represent their family. They could focus on mother/daughter bonding and what the individuals bring to the table + celebrate older drag queens who aren’t interested in competing or have more to offer in a supporting way. Most wardrobe/hair/makeup would be provided to the cast, maybe a signature item from their drag mother? I would love to see a mother/daughter designing an outfit, cutting up cushions for padding, trying to sew and style together. Also, it would make it more accessible for those who don’t have the cash for thousands of dollars in their wardrobe. I like that the show has created so many opportunities for queens and designers, and love to see them able to really push farther than before, but also I do just love mall drag. I wish they would do a mall drag styling maxi challenge. Just like “you can only use materials you find in this Wet Seal and you only have 3 hours to put the look together.”

Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt: best style for you

I think she treats the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt In addition,I will do this show like her own pageant, but does allow for more alternative viewpoints. I don’t think it was the H&M, itself, I think it was Joe Black’s reaction to it that pissed her off. I agree. A well known, professional, and dare I say unique drag queen like Joe Black laughing when being caught wearing H&M made Ru positively irate. She might not have been that mad if it was one of the younger queens, but I also think the fact that Joe had been given a second chance was definitely a factor. It just wasn’t the right mood to “take the piss” out of. Maybe saying in front of anyone but Rupaul would have been funny but defo not her. Drag Race has changed so much. I’ve watched the older seasons and I noticed in those first seasons the idea was to look like a woman, hence the clothes. Ru praised queens for being beautiful and having a “very real” look.
Now queens are artists and entertainers. I don’t miss old Drag Race. I rather the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt In addition,I will do this queens have freedom to express themselves instead of being bashed for things like boy drag and overstaying just because they’re pretty. I miss the types of queens the earlier seasons attracted, but not the attitudes in the judging. I also definitely don’t miss the exclusion of trans people. This is one reason I like that there are so many design challenges this season. Or even better, they could have mystery runways on weeks that are not just design challenges. What I hate the most about expensive-designers-race is that it really mutes the queens’ artistic POVs. Yes, I know they say they all give direction on what they commission – but come on. If you watch a lot of the show, you can really tell the girls were all going to the same 5 designers for a time because the looks were coming out with the same aesthetics or specific design details. Whose talent is the T for, exactly?

About Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt

I’d say another issue with the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this Glittertary inRustrial Complex is that, Imo, watching the show, they def don’t cast equally. It’s very structured almost with some queens meant to go early and some meant to go to the finale with little room for a contestant to transcend to the other tier. As a result, it’d be really easily criticizable if they had the cocktail dress queens get sent home first so they all have to sort of be on the same plausible playing field, but the best queens are really hard to base a season around. There were 9 people seated for snatch game and only two real standouts, and one of them was blatant pandering to Ru (although I felt the same thing about burger finger tbh) I have some good news for you though… Go see some hard working local drag queens. Find a bar where a queen is entertaining the crowd all night and maybe has time for one outfit change max if she’s lucky. Tip her well. You’ll get that down to earth drag experience you’re missing.
Honestly my biggest issue is padding. I’m certainly not a drag expert but I’ve always thought of it as an exaggerated take on women / women hood. So seeing boy bodies, no padding is just kinda eh for me. Like at this point it’s just pretty boys in dresses. While I agree mamy girls feel pressured to spend loads to compete, I feel it’s highly wrong to say this show has fucked up drag. The reason those queens looks so pedestrian was because queens never had any money. Theu had to choose between eating and buying clothes. Most clubs didn’t even allow queens inside, even the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this gay clubs. This show has made drg mainstream. These artists are actually making money now. Plus, the queen with the most expensive runway package hardly ever wins. It’s a fact that Ru prefers queens who are charming and resourceful.
I like older seasons but that’s just not repeatable for many reasons. I stopped watching around season 10 (since 2) but I’m picking it back up again and I’m a big fan of how creative these ladies are It’s kind of weird that the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this runways are so important now when the majority of the queens didn’t make their stuff, it’s also why the ones that actually do are so much more impressive to me because it’s kind of weird to praise a queen for a look someone else made when you stop and think about it. I honestly feel like the runway shouldn’t really count unless it’s a design challenge and they actually all have to make their outfits for this reason. It’s a weird situation. I like seeing great looks but it’s supposed to be a competition with them showing their own skills and being judged against each other on what they themselves can do in different parts of drag. Although I don’t want drag race 2B more of a nuisance than it probably already is 4 contestants, I think the chaos & change made phenomenal television. I’m not interested in “I know what will get me on Ru’s good side,” “I purposely make drama 2 keep me going.” I want the queens 2 do the unexpected & experience things authentically without getting punished 4 it from “looking poor” or “being delusional & dramatic.”
Sapphira drank the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this potion after giving us a glimpse back in time to when pedestrian drag was in. What she created was talented and beautiful and she was worried it was not up to par with current Ru Industrial Complex standards. I agree, I honestly don’t really watch anymore. It’s now about who has the deepest pockets and access to the best designers. I can honestly see why Paul O Grady didn’t want anything to do with Drag Race UK. Drag race has become so corporate now it’s lost it’s essence. It’s basically become the EA of drag. Rinse, repeat, profit. That’s why I like UK better. It has some old school charm and I feel like there isn’t that big of an arms race in fashion. I guess drag queens these days are evolving and the newer queens think that being a drag queen means you have to look like a queen or an overly glamorous woman? Whereas back in the 2000s and early 2010s a glamorous drag queen meant party dresses and a flat wig. I miss the days when everyone just sat back and enjoyed the show as this bright spot in our abysmal world without over analyzing every little thing to death Edit: imagine being the fickle little fucker who downvotes a comment about actually enjoying a show that should be enjoyed You’re talking about a show from over a decade ago. It can’t stay the same. They need to adapt and grow or they become stagnant. Of course drag doesn’t look the same as it did in season 2.
The crazy thing is that the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this WORLD has changed so much. Like it or not, the show changed the world. That’s pretty wild to contemplate. To me it seems like there was another turning point around seasons 12/13. Maybe the pandemic broke it wide open. I think drag race has just grown to heights that is leaving a hole for a certain demographic of drag entertainment. We can’t count on Drag Race to reel back from being a global superstar drag show, because it has always intended to get there. I think as drag has gotten more mainstream, the market is thirsty for more variety on drag content that highlights localized performers.
I had a flight today at 10:10AM today. So I went to the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this screen with all the flights and found the 10:10AM flight to my destination city and head to that gate. When it comes time to board I scan my pass and the agent tells me I’m not scheduled on this flight. A bit confused I ask her if she has any more information and she looks at my phone and tells me I’m flying on a different airline. I used a third party app for my boarding pass and therefore it just said to check the gate at the airport. (First and last time Il ever do this) Apparently two flights with two different airlines were going to the same city at the exact same time. My flight was on the other side of the airport so I didn’t make it and had to rebook at my own expense. The last minute 45 minute one way trip ticket cost me more than the round trip multi city flights for my initial trip Bit of a pointless story but just wanted to share with someone. If I tell my friends they’ll laugh at me so just sharing here instead.
It’s refreshing to see an OP take responsibility for something like this. That said, it sucks and sorry that happened to you. yeah it’s a bummer. be kind to yourself OP — we’ve all made stupid mistakes when traveling and it’ll be a funny story soon enough This should never happen and is bad planning on the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this part of the airline – unless it’s a delay. The best time to put another flight on is unlikely to ever be the exact time there’s already one on. If for no other reason so you can jack up the price of the better flight time. well, it was a flight back from a holiday destination and I assume the airline needed additional capacity but didn’t have a plane with 580 seats. Then you’d schedule one at some other point in the day and differentiate your offering a bit better to provide multiple options. It’s not as though they’ll have oversold the initial flight by 290 seats, this other flight will have been on sale at the very least weeks prior. If for literally no other reason, having flights take off on the same routing at the same time is just asking for chaos and pissed off passengers. Even I used 3rd party to book, I’d have the airline app on my phone to show the info needed and to get updates. Also just be early. It’s a big expense, so I never understand why people get bent out of shape about arriving early, or try to cut it as close as possible. The number of things that can go wrong even once you’re at the airport makes it more than worth it to just build in extra time.
Time wasn’t OP’s problem. They were there in plenty of time but didn’t realize the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this problem with two flights at the same time until boarding. Presumably, OP was boarding in a later group and did not have enough time to get to the other side of the airport as that flight would have been boarding at the same time. Even if OP had arrived hours before their flight, the same thing would have happened. Look on the bright side. You’ve never missed an Eurostar because you read the arrival time on the ticket as the departure time. The really annoying part is that I was in the station at the departure time drinking coffee and munching on patisserie. Turned up once for Eurostar with plenty of time before departure… until it was pointed out to us that our tickets were for yesterday I did the same thing for a TGV train from Germany to France. In my head I had bought a ticket for Thursday but when I got to the station I realized that my ticket was actually for Wednesday. That was an expensive mistake for a college student.
Once we showed up a 15 minutes before the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this Eurostar in London thinking it’s just like any other European train… um yea that was a mistake This happened to me last month, but thankfully I wasn’t the only and security moved us to the front of the queue and we all made it There’s a security check and there’s gates, so it would have been closed when OP arrived only 15 mins before departure. It’s a security check AND you go through customs. The UK is not part of Schengen, so there’s always border control. 30 min. check-in for 2nd and 1st class passengers and 15-20 min. check-in for business class. The same applies the other way round if you depart from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels or Paris. Yeah it blows … Not as early as you would for an airport but still. Brexit made the whole process much worse. Well the UK was never part of the Schengen Agreement anyways so the immigration procedure has always been there and would have been there anyways Yeah it’s an international train with juxtaposed border control which means they have to clear immigration as well That beats sitting down inside a random train because “oh hey, that one looks nice”. Still managed to catch the one I had to be in but I felt so dumb lmao
When I was flying home at Christmas, there was someone yelling at the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this ticket counter. Because they wouldn’t honor their ticket that was for the day earlier. The ticket agent told them they had to buy a new ticket, but the passenger was not happy about that. Yeah we had to buy new tickets. It’s nobody’s fault but your own so you have to take responsibility for not triple checking important details like the date My brother did this once here in the US with Amtrak. He bought his ticket a few weeks prior. Once it was time to head back home, he went to the train station…and they told him his ticket was for the day he bought the ticket! Had to buy a brand new ticket day of. Pricey, but luckily not last-minute plane ticket pricey. Oops. I’ll do you one better. I was traveling on the train with two of my American friends in England. We got to our stop and were at the door, but could not find a handle anywhere. We were totally flummoxed and two Brits came up behind us asking us to open the door. None of us could do it and the train started to pull away from the station. The Brits were yelling at us and one panicked and pulled the emergency stop. The whole train came to a screeching halt. The conductor came to see what had happened, but by this time the Brits were long gone. We tried to tell him it was someone else, but he didn’t believe us. It took like an extra half hour to undo the emergency brake and get going. We later saw people reach out a window to open the door and should have just done that.
Oh this happened like.. right now. That’s so rough. I think I’d rather get kicked in the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this torso than deal with that. Upvote for mentioning Chili’s at the airport. Had a layover in Calgary, 2-3 hours, so I go to Chili’s, get a ‘bit’ hammered (!), was late and was banned from that flight for drinking. I was moved to the next one with no extra charge, but that was back in the good ole days. No idea which airline. lol I’m living in Calgary right now and every time I fly out of here I get a little glow on at that Chili’s. One time I drank 4 margs and 6 pints before my flight to Taiwan. Slept the entire time. For what it’s worth I’ve rocked up to the airport a day after my flight because while I got the time and the airline right, I messed up the date… Was an expensive lesson to learn as well
I once booked the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this return flight of a trip one month later than intended. Was supposed to be 13 September, I accidentally booked 13 October. Very expensive lesson to learn, rocking up to the airport and booking a flight two hours before its due to leave. Felt right and silly. I booked a hotel with the wrong day (while I was still flying) so when I arrived in a foreign country and got internet I got the cancellation order :() That happened on my very first trip from the U.S. to London – I didn’t realize the first night would be spent on the plane. Luckily the little hotel, which was run by real people, didn’t charge me for the missed night and gave me a room. (Those were the days.) I was once at a bus stop and overheard a woman calling for a ride. She seemed confused and after a couple of minutes realized that she had gotten off in Waterbury, Vermont instead of Waterbury, Connecticut. Recently did something sooner for the first time ever. Flight landed just after midnight so accidentally booked hotel for date the flight landed (should have been day before). Got reamed out by the front desk about how careless I was and they were going to charge me rack rate until they saw my status with the hotel chain and suddenly they were able to make adjustments to my reservations. Same. I was a month late. Somehow my college roommate and I mixed the dates up. The flight we booked was a month before we were leaving but for only one leg of three. So we made it to DC and then realized my leg to Johannesburg got fucked up and cancelled because I didn’t show up the month prior. We made it to Zimbabwe because I think the nice South African Airways flight attendant took pity on us dumb college girls but we both had to split the cost to rebook the cancelled leg back from Johannesburg. When we got to Zim, her mom wasn’t pleased with us. We imagined how they called my name over the speaker at Dulles for that missed flight for awhile. Not that it helps much, but I don’t think they would have called your name if you never checked in for the flight
This reminds me of the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this time we were going to California. BIL was stationed there and we made a plan to meet for dinner. It was a February/March mishap so the dates aligned with the days the same. Anyway he showed up a month early. But they tried out the restaurant and we knew it was going to be good one month later. I fucked this up but showed up a day early. I used one of those calendar-style date picker, and my dumb American brain decided that the calendar week started on Sunday, but it was a European airline so actually the calendar week started on Monday. We were minding a friend’s house once while he took a trip. The first morning we woke up early to see him off to the airport. Two hours later, he sheepishly walked back in the door. Like you, he’d turned up a day early for his flight. I got a ticket to Hamilton when it was hard to get them and very expensive. I was about to head to the theater when I realized that the show I booked was for the previous week, which I had obviously missed.
At first blush, I was wondering “Why would you go to Hamilton, ON? And why would it be hard to get tickets? It’s not a very exciting city.” My SIL once showed up to the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this airport 12 hours late because she thought it was a 5:34 PM flight…it was actually 05:34 AM. Somehow she was able to sweet talk them into letting her take the next flight without paying for a new ticket. An old colleague of mine was due to fly from Thailand to Australia on a flight that left at 00:10 (ten past midnight) on the 24th, so they turn up at the airport to check in at 10 PM on the 24th to try and check in, and only when they are trying to check in does it click that their flight left almost 24 hours beforehand. They needed to get back to Australia that day for work so were out another international ticket bought at far more than the original return ticket. It’s a mistake you only make once. This is always my biggest fear. When i have a flight at midnight, ill check it 30 times before the day of the flight
I imagine airlines mostly try to avoid a takeoff time like this, for precisely this reason. Could easily get passengers confused. This used to happen so often on that specific flight that they changed the Ramona Flowers American expatriate who lived Vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this flight time to just before midnight. don’t feel bad, i missed my entire international trip because i forgot to check if my passport expired (it did) Oh, that hurts! I’m always paranoid that something like that happens to me. Especially with shared code flights, you have to check the flight number so carefully. Call the initial airline. Since you missed the first leg of your flight, they may have automatically canceled the return leg. It was on the return leg. And because I booked through a third party site they said they can’t offer me anything. Only when you can afford to miss a flight. You can save money by booking with a third party. However they will laugh at you if you try to use the extras you’ve purchased with the ticket. “Oh, we don’t have these flights in our system, but we can put you in this business class for 5 grand extra” – happened to me Maybe I’ve just been lucky, but I have never been charged to move to another flight, even when it’s my fault, or at least not the airline’s fault. I went from Baltimore to Reagan to catch a flight, and I would have had plenty of time but there were a number of hiccups that prevented me from getting there until after the flight closed. Technically my fault. I explained the situation at the gate, and they just moved me to the next flight, no charge.
