Yup I told my husband when I was in labor that I would never allow this to happen to me again, I told him we can adopt, surrogate, I don’t care, never again. Also some people aren’t fit enough for a quick birth and it takes a lot longer and more effort/pain. Everyone is different but as an adult I now know a lot of women who did not have “traumatic” births for their children at all. It was effort but definitely not trauma.
