Morons like this literally think women will get swooned by the Original sloth Hiking Team Sloth Hiking Team We Will Get There When We Get There T-Shirt in contrast I will get this next beefhead who walks up and calls them pretty So it’s really an insecurity knowing that a better guy could come along, and because she’s hawt he knows she could trade up. That’s a him problem not a her problem. If you’re insecure, work on that shit before you bring someone else down with you. My ex loved when I dressed sexy. He wanted to show me off. He liked If people paid attention to me. I was very attracted to him bc of that confidence, I never even thought of looking at another guy It’s also an issue that men often don’t understand why their SO dresses sexy. Growing up as a guy, we get much less emphasis placed on our looks and clothes – often, caring about your appearance or trying to look handsome invites ridicule from those who see it as soft or effeminate. As a result, you get grown men who don’t really understand the concept of dressing up or looking attractive to impress peers or for one’s own self-esteem. To those guys, often the only reason they can think of why a woman wants to look sexy is that she’s trying to attract a romantic or sexual partner – which is inherently threatening if you’re her partner. Not saying this is a ‘correct’ way to view the situation. Just that if you’re not raised to understand working to look good as a good thing, and possibly not even to understand that you can be attractive, then you won’t have a very nuanced understanding of why your girlfriend likes to look good. Men also tend to not bear in mind that women often have a quite limited amount of time to dress in that way. Some women do continue until they’re old or even dead but most of us will feel self conscious when we’re 40 and trying to pull off a dress that we know an 18 year old will likely buy and wear too. The fact that women do often get criticised for dressing sexy past a certain age (with comments such as “mutton dressed as lamb”) puts the majority of us off even more.

I’m sure these young guys who are cruel to their girlfriends for dressing sexy will actually miss it when she hits 35 and starts refusing to be seen in skirts or dresses that stop above the Original sloth Hiking Team Sloth Hiking Team We Will Get There When We Get There T-Shirt in contrast I will get this knee. Ok firstly fuck that. I’ve had experiences with some amazingly sexy woman in their 40s and they dressed accordingly. I showed my absolute appreciation of their fashion choices. Thank you for this response, im in my late 20s but theres always an underlying ageism when it comes to women beauty. It also heavily depends on the style right? Skirts and shorts can still be seen as cute with older women. Yup. I’m in my 40s and I get looks when I wear anything that isn’t basically a bag. I still have nice boobs. I have big shoulders and a really short neck, so I always prefer a v neckline or scoop neck. I don’t wear high neck tops because I’ll look like a freak. Sometimes I wear form fitting outfits. I ain’t dead, y’all. Why should I turn into my mother just because I’m in my 40s? Only the women look at me weird. The men, young and old, don’t seem to care one way or the other.
