An hour after we started, my baby needed to eat and nap. He was crying. I have suffered from very bad post partum depression and anxiety since baby was born so this was very triggering for me. And the photographer basically kept insinuating if me and my husband were good parents we could cheer him up and keep going. Anyways I could keep nit picking everything but just take my word on it, it was stressful, aggrevating, awkward and uncomfortable. The complete opposite of the fun thing we thought this was going to be.

We got 100 and only 15 are good. And that’s being generous. I was hardly in any. The ones I was in, I looked ridiculous. I was mid blink or making a weird facial expression. He even gave my baby dark eye brows in some randomly. There is probably 30 pictures alone of my baby actively CRYING in the photo, plus 20 or so of his looking so sad and miserable. Ugh. They are just terrible. The whole experience was terrible. The worst part of all this was he made us pay before hand and my MIL paid for us as a gift! I feel so terrible. I feel like she completely wasted her money! I have absolutely no idea how to even approach this! Never in my wildest of dreams did I expect this to go so poorly.He should’ve told you he is inexperienced with newborns/family and declined your business. I had newborn photoshoots with both of my kids and the photographer gave instructions about having the room extra warm to help the baby stay comfy, have milk/formula ready for any feedings. have extra diapers ready for quick changes. And most importantly she had a shush machine thingy so we all listened to soft white noise for a couple of hours.
