I did take some constructive criticism from this group. I can’t wait to apply it to my channel! This was (and is) my attitude, and I’m glad that it was. Much like OP, if I wasn’t 100% sure that this was going to work, I couldn’t have made it work. Personally, I don’t really have an end goal when it comes to YouTube. I just wanna create content that will help people. The more my channel grows, the more I can help people. So I’m not really shooting for a certain number of views or subscribers. Plus, I use YouTube to help with my offline business. It’s simply a marketing tool. Our channel on our silly little hobby has allowed my partner and I to get even closer and have a really fun thing we can do together. It’s already a success in my eyes, despite having almost no subscribers. I don’t really have end goals, to be honest. I keep joking with my partner that in a month I’ll be a millionaire thanks to YouTube with all my 4 subscribers! Every day I am surprised to get views on my videos and I’d rather keep these little sparks of joy than stress about “making it”

I’m just trying to get better at video production and public speaking. Success is doing better tomorrow than I did yesterday. I’m not all that confident, and it’s impacting my motivation since I don’t know if I’m wasting my valuable time. my only unsolicited advice is to pause and see if theres anything you have to improve on. not saying that’ll help your confidence but being self aware only improves your channel, it never makes it worse. and if you do find improvements, at least you’ll be wasting time creating a slightly better product and a better product has a better chance of doing good lol MONEY!!!! I’m confident I can create an audience for myself.
