The prices have gone up, but the designs are really beautiful. I got their wool Cian greatcoat last winter and is probably the most beautiful piece I own. And they do have good sales- I think it was $500 originally and I got if for like $200 My only complaint would be their delivery/ online service is awful, all of my 3 packages were never delivered and they were unable to track them or tell me what happened to them. I got refunded just fine but it was super annoying, next time I’d order to pickup in store I was scrolling down through the thread waiting for someone to say Banana Republic! I feel like their return to the OG safari/nature theme has given them a stronger creative direction and the renewed focus on natural fibers has really put them head and shoulders above their major competitors (looking at you, J Crew). While they aren’t cheap, I feel like the quality is there and they run sales on a pretty regular basis. Their sizing can be sort of inconsistent which isn’t great, so I still prefer to try things on in store. As someone right on the border of petite/regular sizing, I also like how they offer petite/tall sizing! But yeah it’s been a breath of fresh air buying and trying stuff from them in the past two years. Feels like suffering through their polyester everything phase for the last decade was worth it lol.

And to my continued surprise, I bought my wedding jewelry there too. I’d looked everywhere but the minimal but elegant rutilated quartz drop earrings and y necklace were exactly what I wanted. BR overall has really stepped up in quality, totally agree. J Crew has been really hit or miss for me too, and their sizing is way too big. Vanity sizing whatever but it’s really out of hand there.
