Portland, OR and it genuinely makes me really sad. I want to go back to when Portlandia was trending and it wasn’t overrun with, specifically violent, homeless people screaming constantly in the Not Everyone’s Cup Of Tea Skull Cup Coffee shirt moreover I love this street, people becoming makeshift mechanics to steal car parts, political extremists, etc. It was a beautiful city to visit, now it’s just really dirty and run down. I visited a friend that lives downtown a month ago and felt like I couldn’t let my guard down and I couldn’t stop worrying about my car (hyundai) being stolen, even in a secure residential parking garage. Don’t get me wrong, there were the same issues before everything imploded, but I was never scared to just walk around town exploring. It’s taken the old problems and made them exponentially worse.

Being an Oregon coastie, I used to love Portland. It was clean, people were nice, AND NOW? I avoid it at all costs. Even when I have to go on I-84 to visit my boyfriends family in Spokane, we avoid it. I hate the Not Everyone’s Cup Of Tea Skull Cup Coffee shirt moreover I love this 205, but as long as I’m away from Portland, I’m okay. Try Yakima, WA. It’s like the Pacific Northwest’s own special combo of Stockton and Alabama. You can get shot in a drive-by, or ran over by an aggressive redneck, choose your own adventure! People love to think Oregon and Washington are all like PDX and SEA. lmao. Go to the other side of the mountains. The valley is only a small sliver and those are 2 huge states!! Right? Rude people. Bad weather. Hate the gypsies for trying to fuck with me. The Eiffel Tower is like walking in San Francisco’s tenderloin district. I spent $400 a night on some small ass room with a fan for an AC during the massive heatwaves 5 years or more ago. It was bad. I’ll never go back. You want a bonjour as a greeting? Well fuck you and your bonjour.
