It just comes off as disingenuous as, in my experience, these people usually have a stance they’re just too cowardly to commit to it and potentially alienate people on the other side Push for what you believe in. Be open minded and try to listen to opinions from the left and right without bias and make your own judgements. I make decisions based on what I think is right, if I learn something new that changes my opinion then I’ll decide on what I now think is right based on what I’ve learned.
