Okay so first question, why when a mass shooting occurs everyone acts all boohoo and sad for a week, and then we all say “Oh well, move one, maybe one day gun laws will change.”, and forget about it. You are looking out for others. Now days it’s just about looking out for yourself to make sure you win the next election. It makes me sick.

In my opinion, “no guns!” is never going to happen in America. If we want to see change, we need to make it harder for people to own a gun. That way not any old joe can buy one. Mental health/soundness screenings should be required. Extensive training beforehand should be required. Regular yearly gun safety check-ins should be required. Another thing that would end gun purchases/violence is better trust in our government, but that’s also never going to happen. It all seems like a nobrainer solution to me, but I will admit I am not educated in American politics or active gun policies. I am more just an angry clueless civilian, tired of seeing mass shootings on the news.
