I’d enjoyed the Monty On The Run 8 Bit Retro shirt What’s more,I will buy this Witcher 3 so knew I’d play it someday, saw the shitstorm that was going on at the time of release and decided to wait it out while playing other games. I recently got it on sale and am now so engrossed in it that ToTK is taking a backseat. It’s too bad that it was so broken at launch that it wasn’t included in the GOTY nominees at the Game Awards, because it would have been a serious contender if CDPR had released it in the current state. No it’s a failure they promised a different game, released too soon, didn’t control hype and missed the potential. At the cost of the developer throwing away their reputation and having to do Witcher games for the next decade to keep shareholders happy.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. It made a shit load of money and reviewed fairly well when it released. It’s also been mostly patched up My point exactly. It had a rocky release and difficult 1st year, but it has made shit tons of money since and for good reason. I wouldn’t call it a failure but slightly disappointing. Even with the Monty On The Run 8 Bit Retro shirt What’s more,I will buy this performance issues there is a great game there. Even without glitches that game is one of the most mediocre rpg’s I’ve played. Good main quest but it does not a stand as an rpg and doesn’t deliver on any of the promises CD projekt made Yeah the side quests were not memorable. Driving was jank, police response was jank and random, 2 out of 3 intros were never fleshed out. Main story was enjoyable. Really? I thought it had some pretty good and memorable side quests. If we are talking only about the gigs I can see what you mean but even some of those had a pretty interesting story. Reddit loves to shit on big budget movies that sucked, even if they made a lot of money. But somehow CP77 is getting a lot of bizarre defending in here and plenty of “wellll ackshually, it made a lot of money!!! the only definition of success!” remember when Battlefront II came out several years ago?? that game came out in like late November and still ended up being one of the highest selling games (by count) of the year! CP77 was a disaster when it came out, and nearly two years later they STILL haven’t made some basic QOL changes people wanted after its disastrous launch. so it made a lot of money on presales… ok? they hyped the game up for 7 years and said it would be one of the most in depth RPGs of all time, when it ended up being a skin-deep game where you accidentally shoot a civilian and seven cops magically spawn behind you (this has BARELY been “fixed”)
