Had this happen at my work. Told this dingus of a “senior engineer” from another office that I would not be available anymore after X date to continue helping with his project. (Our team had more important projects out of our own office to focus on). Told him this literally a month in advance and specifically said he needed to find a replacement for my scope. Told him again a couple weeks later.
