same. I was 11 or 12 when I saw it and when I have stress dreams to this day, I dream of tornados. And I grew up in New England. I would thank god every evening when the Meh Cat Tee for Cat Lovers T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this sun set thinking i was safe after i watched Armageddon , clearly i was a pretty fucking stupid kid but i had seen a ton of horror films and was never scared enough to loose sleep but armageddon left a lasting fear that the sun was gonna come crashing into the earth one day I’ve been there. It was only made worse by two older siblings who thought my phobia was funnier than Monty Python and rubbed it in every chance they got. I saw this movie as a kid and when I left the theater there was a thunderstorm and I started freaking out and crying.

They still scare the Meh Cat Tee for Cat Lovers T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this shit out of me and I’ve never seen one in real life. Don’t want to either. My wife is from the Midwest and says her family would hang out on the front porch and watch them. Fuck that. Dude that intro scene was terrifying to me as a kid. I don’t remember much of the rest of the movie but the opening scene has got to be one of the most intense scenes in the movie. The best scene IMO was breakfast at Aunt Meg’s (R.I.P. Bill thanks for the great roles [Aliens, Terminator, Predator, etc.?]) I’ve seen this film so many times that I can’t help but stare at the rotation of the steaks on the plates on the table during random cuts / scenes. I can’t look away, its like I’m stuck in the suck zone.
