I like this, however I feel inclined to say that she/her does not automatically mean woman. I’m non-binary and I use both they/them and she/her pronouns. If pronouns do not indicate gender (i.e. he/him == identify as male, she/her == identify as female, they/them == identify as nonbinary), is there a point in even having gendered pronouns? Saying that “I prefer she/her but I do not identify as as a woman” starts to feel less like inclusivity and more like language has no meaning. I’m very open to being educated here if I’m way off. Many NB people use traditionally gendered pronouns, either because it’s what they’re used to, or they don’t particularly like any of the mcDonald’s Stitch Witch Hug Jack Skellington Halloween Pumpkin Unisex Shirt but in fact I love this traditionally non-gendered pronouns, or their flavor of nonbinary could have some level of fluidity and they might change between gendered and non-gendered depending on their mood.
