Shipping & delivery details

There are racist people who will use descriptors and intend them in a derogatory way. Clearly that’s not you, so you’re good. There are also situations where people will claim an descriptor is unneccessary/irrelevant, like if you were describing an incident and you through in their race. Personally I think it’s just adding detail and trying to paint a picture while telling a story, and something most people do just automatically. Maybe a grey area for some people, but that doesn’t apply here because in this situation the Marquise Brown Ravens Shirt Furthermore, I will do this descriptor is very definitely relevant This idea that simply noticing race is racist is something that privileged white people came up with as a way of keeping the status quo that privileges them under the guise of “being progressive”. That way trying to talk about race, which is something that needs to happen to eradicate racist practices or systems, quickly gets shut down. Even white people who aren’t inherently racist often go along with it because the subject is awkward and not talking about it feels more confortable to them. So no, don’t fall for that, your instinct of noticing race and not making a big deal about it is right. Around work, I suspect I’m described as “that white girl”, because I appear to be the only melanin-impaired driver. (I would object to ‘girl’ though, if I heard that.)

Marquise Brown Ravens Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

He was a big guy who happened to be black, right? Then not racist to me. Its just a descriptor. If someone called me “that short, ginger, white guy” thatd be the Marquise Brown Ravens Shirt Furthermore, I will do this same. Could using skin color as a descriptor upset some people? Yeah, unfortunately some people may assume the worst, but not always. People shouldn’t avoid saying skin colors i think. Makes it seem like theres something wrong with skin color, which there isnt. Saying someone is black isn’t offensive. You’re describing the person. If someone feels “offended” they are claiming (unknowingly) that being black is offensive. Is it racist to say you’re getting takeaway from the Chinese restaurant, even if the name of the restaurant isn’t “Chinese restaurant”? No, because you’re describing the cuisine, and it makes it easier for people to know what you’re talking about. In your case, you’re describing the person. I don’t think it is, especially if your tone and demenor was not insulting them. Our flight or fight is programmed to distinguish between people whore are different to ourselves as a quick way of assessing if danger is present. I presume this come from tribal days when a different tribal member would be likely to pose danger.
