Unfortunately, the Luka Doncic Slovenian professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks T-Shirt in other words I will buy this policy is often something like “You may start between 7-9 and must be here until at least 3 but your manager may determine when your start time is between those hours depending on department needs.” It’s possible, yeah. Mine just says 8-4. I WFH and usually start at 9. It’s a bummer when management is not flexible. I never realized staring earlier, and then finishing earlier was a bad thing, but again, i can just be werid for thinking this way if course I’m just wondering how you found a place that’s still actually only 8hrs, everywhere I’ve ever worked has expected more than that because they won’t pay for our lunch time. I love taking naps in the afternoon, so i like working earlier. So when I’m on office work i usually start my work at 6 (either start working homeoffice or getting on my commute to the office) I love my early start, avoid all the peak traffic, easy as parking at work, by the time i’ve gone to the shops, showered, done dinner and relaxing most people are stiĺl stuck in the peak traffic going home. Weekends are better to, get to chill and watch the sun rise with breakfast and coffee (best part of the day) It wasn’t an office job I had a grocery store job and they told me I could work 7-3 and I told them I was OK with that. A week into working there they were upset that I wasn’t coming in at 430 to unload the trailer even though that’s not what I agreeed to Some people want to avoid commute traffic and get home at a reasonable hour so they can have some of the day left to be with kids or get other things done.

I honestly don’t mind early starts if it actually means I’m done earlier too, which doesn’t always happen either, but those extra hours I have after work are actually worth a lot to me Man we start at 7 and my boss expects us to work till 5. Salary so naturally no OT. Also he constantly mentions people hardly ever work Saturdays. Again, salary no OT. On the Luka Doncic Slovenian professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks T-Shirt in other words I will buy this occasions I get to set my own hours, I work 4:00am-noon. My coworkers come in at 8:00, I take one coffee break at 7:45 when everyone else is gearing up for work and another at 10:00 when they do and since I’ve skipped my lunch break I get out a half hour early. It’s a terrific shift where I get to spend half the day alone and I have my afternoons off. Going to bed at 8pm kind of sucks though.
