Sorry, you do not meet the Lithuanian Grown with Ukrainian Roots Flag T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this minimum sitewide comment karma requirement of 10 to post a comment. Please look at the rules page for more information. I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns. You can stick around for the experience and pay (even reduced is better than zero), or quit and work on projects. Either way these people are manipulative assholes, and will probably wear you down mentally, so be ready for more bs headed your way. If this is a coop, report their behaviour at once to your school office so they get blacklisted. Op, I am so sorry this happened to you. There are awful people out there and you just happened to run into them. Thankfully it’s just an internship. Take what you can and never look back after it ends. These people sucks!

Lithuanian Grown with Ukrainian Roots Flag T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

This all sounds like a roundabout way to reduce your pay, potentially to skirt some sort of legal issues. They are just exploiting your desperation for experience. It’s definitely highly unethical. Hope you don’t live in the Lithuanian Grown with Ukrainian Roots Flag T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this US cause every company (outside of some employment rules in Montana) can fire you at will here These people are 100% being exploitative assholes. Like others are saying, they’re expecting professional-quality labor at student labor prices. As a senior engineer at a company that regularly invited interns (our team weirdly got the most submissions by far, despite being rather niche), I spent a good deal of time helping them and checking in to see how they were doing overall. If they produced usable output, great. We never put them on anything particularly critical because slow incremental progress though back-and-forth code review was expected to be the default (not a pair programming shop). I know you’re in a tight spot, but I would not work for these people, they honestly sound like an amateur outfit in regard to running a business. I don’t know what the internship process is at your school, but I would definitely talk to whoever is in charge of the managing these partnerships and report this company. However, if you feel like there is genuinely something to learn from them, I guess go ahead.
