Please put this in an email and BCC yourself but also print it. Ask for a reply, you’ll need that too even if it says ‘we’ll discus this in person’. If you know you’re in the Life’s No Fun Without A Good Scare Halloween Spooky Nightmare Movie Quote Slogan shirt But I will love this right, and you can find other work, be ready to defend yourself physically with this person. You deserve better. First see if you can salvage anything from this current position by either getting an internal move or getting the boss canned. Start looking for a new job at the same time, and if the first option doesn’t work out, run for the hills. Any company that allows this behavior to persist is doomed. The absolute BOTTOM LINE here is that it is NEVER EVER EVER okay for a superior to be putting hands on a subordinate. That’s a hard stop. As for the patient that was a witness, yes, definitely mention that this was done in front of a patient who appeared very shocked at the behavior. If you are asked who the patient was, provide that information for follow up. If I were that patient, you can bet your ass I would have spoken up to the head if the practice for you. Hell, I probably would have told you to get the hell out of there now and taken you to lunch. I was HR in a past life, albeit benefits focused, but I saw what my fellow HR reps would do for people in their divisions to know that they function for the employee as well. We as a team had to deal with more than one tragic situation and each one was handled with great care and compassion. At least in the large corporate setting I was in. They aren’t always the baddie, people! As for responders here screaming “OMG, HIPAA!!” or “suck it up and take it” or “oh hun, that shove it just your bosses way of encouraging you. Really??? Would you want your kids to be treated like that at a new job??? To have a boss lay their hands on them??? I highly doubt it.

Life’s No Fun Without A Good Scare Halloween Spooky Nightmare Movie Quote Slogan shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Having thick skin or being physically touched are both completely different. I can deal with verbal but when they start touching me that’s something else. And in case she just fires you for no reason, you need to get a signed letter from witnesses who saw her push you. So it’s not your word vs hers. If they have CCTV cameras, then you’re good to file assault charges with the Life’s No Fun Without A Good Scare Halloween Spooky Nightmare Movie Quote Slogan shirt But I will love this police since there is objective evidence of what happened. Stand your ground. Don’t be bullied. You need to check this lady immediately. Do it respectfully. But once you show her you are no pushover, she’ll back off and respect you. And report her asap. God bless. Be strong. Are there cameras in your office? If yes, email HR and tell them about what happened and roughly what time it was. If there aren’t, still email HR, tell them what happened, and who was there when it happened. And bcc your own email address on any emails you send on this situation. You may need that later on. Your boss laid her hands on you and a patient saw. The clinic may be willing to talk with the patient about this after talking with your coworkers. It may be in your best interest to start looking for a lawyer as well. They will try to get you fired if anyone knows your boss shoved you, so you need to get ahead of this. And once you email HR, they’ll try to get you to leave quietly and not fight them.
