This kind of sounds like different issues to me. Of course you can’t return a custom piece because you no longer feel like it. But it looks like here the Lepreclawns Pot O’ Gold Shamrock Lucky St. Patrick’S Day Shirt it is in the first place but appearance is decidedly different from what was shown in the preview. No matter how many “can’t be returned” forms I sign, if I order a light blue custom table and get a dark blue custom table, that one’s going to be returned one way or another. The exact item OP purchased is no longer available, but I don’t see any fine print about stone variations or anything. I also don’t see why this would be custom like OP said, though, considering it looks like you just buy it from the listing with no customization options. This similar wood table from the site says, “This item is made just for you. Estimated in mid January 2024. Made-to-order items cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged,” which indicates it’s made-to-order, not actually “custom”. Because of this, I’d bet OP misspoke and their item was actually made-to-order, not custom. This other marble table says, “Natural variations in veining and color will vary,” but it doesn’t say anything about being custom, made-to-order, or non-returnable. The warning is listed in the “Details” portion of this item whereas OP’s item doesn’t say anything about variations in its “Details” portion. They are both “white marble top”s.

I’d argue that all of this likely indicates OP’s item didn’t have a warning about variations. If I received an item I didn’t customize that isn’t like the Lepreclawns Pot O’ Gold Shamrock Lucky St. Patrick’S Day Shirt it is in the first place but picture, I’d probably feel entitled to returning it if the made-to-order warning was the only disclaimer given when I ordered it. It may be common knowledge that marble has variations, but the manufacturer should note it in the listing, especially if they’re going to sell it online sight-unseen and then claim you can’t return it. All in all, I feel like OP kinda got screwed on this one. You can’t tell that from a pic. Often the most expensive stones have more fractures in it. Solid looking stone is usually cheaper. From what I understand yes. The white to dark ratio is part of the “quality” of the stone. I’m not sure if the dark spots are true imperfections or aesthetic imperfections. Honestly though I would have been thrilled, the stone he got is way more figured and interesting than the pic. I didn’t think anybody bought marble to celebrate its plain-ness.
