I also didn’t like the La Mejor Mama Del Mundo Mother’s Day T-Shirt in addition I really love this relationship between Bruce and Alfred, there was zero love there. Bruce telling Alfred he’s not his father, questioning why Alfred has those cufflinks like… “you’re a Wayne??” and Alfred having to be like yea… You’re DAD gave these to me so HE considered me a Wayne. When Alfred is in the hospital and Bruce holds his hand I felt nothing. Again, I loved the individual pieces of the movie, I think every actor was amazing in their role, and so many scenes were incredible, but it fell just short of amazing for me. It was the movie of his first couple years of being Batman. He is probably still driven by rage at that time a too blind to see Alfred’s value. It’s the point of the movie that he is still learning to be better in these early years. (How he realized being “vengeance” is wrong) This. Thats what i thought when i started to think about it too because at first i thought there wasnt enough to make me care about alfred. But thats kind of the point. Bruce is still figuring all of this out and hes kinda neglected the people that mean the most to him (alfred). And then that is repaired once he grabs his hand

I can’t be alone in this but i think Colin Farrell was playing Penguin as if he was Robert DeNiro and Tuturro playing Falcone as if he was Al Pacino. I just got very similar vibes from both performances. Also there were moments where i thought Pattinson was a bit softly Nicholas Cage-esque, but then at moments where he had to yell he slipped into the La Mejor Mama Del Mundo Mother’s Day T-Shirt in addition I really love this Bale Batvoice. None of this is a bad thing, i love it, the movie was fantastic! You know the script is good when Penguin walking like a penguin doesn’t feel forced or awkward. Look, I loved just about everything in this movie. The cinematography, the score, the actors, how the characters were portrayed. And as far as development, the movie lends itself to be a great character piece on the development of The Batman through a trilogy but… Are we gonna act like The Riddler didn’t literally win? I mean he was always one step ahead and was pretty much one misplaced bullet to the mayor to totally accomplishing his goal. The man killed everyone he set out to, exposed the Wayne’s, purposefully got captured then blew the city up causing probably the deaths of 100s of thousands of people. My man Batman took an L every step of the way. All he was good for was solving the riddles quickly and his contact scanner thingy. After that, man’s was useless ???
