Went into the I can fix stupid but it will damn near kill you skull T-Shirt in contrast I will get this urgent care place three times in 6 weeks for excruciating pain in my back/ couldn’t take deep breath’s/ I had just given birth weeks earlier.. I even mentioned I had white stools. They were like “yeah, IDK. Maybe a UTI?” Each time. The next time (about a week later), I went into the actual ER- and I barely got out “ I’m having trouble taking deep breaths and I have this horrible pain in my back/shoulder blade area.. just had a baby recently”.. and the fucking front desk lady was like “sure, it’s your gallbladder probably.. let’s get you back to a room”… I had a gallstone that was trapped and causing pancreatitis from bile backup. Had to have emergency surgery the next day to get my gallbladder out. Went to an ER after collapsing and the doctor told me I was “hysterical”. This was after months of barely being able to keep food down. He refused to do tests and sent me home.

Told me my blood sugars of 33mmols and 3.3 ketones were normal and I was “just anxious”. Also refused to gove me insulin. Male nurse. I’d been diabetic type 1 for 15 years and had explained in detail what would happen if the I can fix stupid but it will damn near kill you skull T-Shirt in contrast I will get this didn’t give me insulin. He refused to listen or call the diabetic doctor, who was apparently the only doctor who could give me insulin. I was too weak to go myself and find someone else. This was germany A&E and I’d gone because my insulin pump broke and i needed insulin, sugars had been 26mmols but no ketones. 5 hours later theyd still hadn’t given me any and I almost passed out. Needed 6 days in hospital and the doctor later told me this happened all the time, A&E dont know about diabetes. Nah he just wouldn’t take me seriously and chalked my CLASSIC DKA symptoms to anxiety, despite me being super calm.
