Code Veronica dammit. Should have been before RE4 Remake. It completes the I back the red for my dad Proud son of a Great Firefighter american flag shirt and by the same token and damn story from 0 through CV! They better not do RE1. The GC remake is already perfect and readily available. It should be 5 because they have a chance to basically “remake” and improve arguably the worst game in the series. Even tho I liked it. Would be nice Lots of folks are ignoring RE Zero! I think it would have such great potential with the RE engine. Lots of space to expand on the narrative, the potentially to expand certain sections… I might be in the minority here, but I would love to see a fleshed out version of the simulation / raid mode from Resident Evil Revalations 2. I always enjoyed the grind for new weapons, upgrades, etc. I think a full-blown remake in the RE engine would be pretty sick. Also, at this point, they’ve made enough games to reuse the assets for different levels / simulations, too.

Hear me out guys – I want Code Veronica & RE5 as much as y’all do…but we NEED RE1 & RE0 on the I back the red for my dad Proud son of a Great Firefighter american flag shirt and by the same token and RE:Engine first. They just revealed Wesker in all his glory in the RE: Engine and in my opinion it’s the perfect time to give us 3 games central to Wesker’s Arc…and revisit The Spencer Mansion once again with updated graphics/gameplay and a slightly modernized retelling of the game that started it all. With how Capcom has breathed new life into the lore with the previous remakes(the exception being RE3), I think it’s necessary & vital to experience the “Mansion Incident” in this new universe, for continuity & replay value. After that, C:V Remake & then RE5 Remake. Give us 3 games of Wesker’s Arc on the RE: Engine. With their current track record, my optimistic release lineup for the coming years would go like this:
