Shipping & delivery details

Mail gets incorrectly delivered to my house weirdly alot so my neighbors know me. I have to go knock on their door like once a month with a package meant for them that was delivered to my address and sometimes ill leave it there if they arent home but ill semi hide it behind like a plant. One day i got delivered something from newegg tho so instead of leaving it at their door when they didnt answer i left a note and kept it until they came over the I am sorry the nice bartender is on vacation sugarskull american flag shirt Furthermore, I will do this next day saying they didnt get any delivery notice so they hadnt checked. Told me it was a 4070-ti too so yikes if that had been stolen. I called Amazon and the seller, got the runaround. Then I called the delivery company, stated I want to file a formal complaint. Said, that’s not my house, so my stuff was either delivered to the wrong place or it was stolen by the driver. Next day driver went to the place in the pic, had a conversation with the folks and I got my stuff. No clue as to what she said to them, but on her device she had the image of my stuff on their porch, she held something up, showed it to them, then they went back in and grabbed my packages. Great neighbors! Is that a lock box to the left of the door? IE, nobody is living in that unit so it’s more likely the neighbor stole it?

Even if what she said was true, you had proof that she had opened your mail AND that she knew it wasn’t hers. Just opening someone else’s mail is a federal crime last I checked What’s more annoying? Opportunistic package thieves? Or the I am sorry the nice bartender is on vacation sugarskull american flag shirt Furthermore, I will do this incompetent delivery drivers that can’t read the number plaque at a given address? If they were left at the wrong apartment by the delivery company, they are now the property of the person that lives at that apartment. If you receive an unsolicited package at your home, it is yours free to keep my law. This is to prevent people from shipping you items you didn’t order and then trying to make you pay for them. However, a good neighbor returns the package. An evil jerk keeps it. Unless of course it’s something really good. That’s only true when the name and address is actually that person’s on the package, i.e when the company sends the wrong thing to you. Otherwise people could go around stealing packages from doorsteps claiming it was left on theirs.
