There are a lot of variables here. Why was the Gardner Minshew Indianapolis HorseShew Magic Signature T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this boss fired? Is the company having money trouble? If so, they probably are hoping you’ll do the job for no extra money and then either be let go yourself, or the company goes under. I’d have a lot of questions about this if I were you. A title change with no pay raise always would set alarm bells off in my head. However, if you want the job, and think it could work out, you need to get clear guidelines and expectations, in writing. A short trial period, and you need a pay raise after trial period. Clearly defined metrics and clearly defined pay when a short trial period is over. This is a bit of a negotiation and in order to get what you want, you should be willing to walk away from them. So if you take some of the other advice on this thread and say something like “ok how about a 3 month trial period in writing” and they say no, then be willing to walk away from the company. You’ll never have more leverage than you have right now.

Give them a deadline. Tell them you would be happy to do the Gardner Minshew Indianapolis HorseShew Magic Signature T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this job for 3 months (or whatever you feel is reasonable). At that time you can talk and decide if you are going to continue with the role of go back to your current position. Insist on a title change – but suggest “temporary” whatever. It will give you cover if it doesn’t work out since it was temporary. Take the job and update your resume… Then job hunt like crazy… If the current job thinks they can get something for nothing get the dark out as fast as you can because that shit never gets better. They will always undervalue you. Get a clear lists of tasks, goals and measurable performance, with set dates to see if you meet them, and a promised bonus when you do. On paper. If they consider you qualified enough to take on the position and its responsibilities then the title and pay should go into effect immediately. We’re they to advertise this opening, and hire someone…it would be with the title and pay, so …again… you should get the title and pay immediately.
