There’s a subreddit and Facebook group just for this kind of thing. I think it was r/knitforauniquefit but it appears to be private. If you’re really interested then I’m sure you could join. Woah! I have so many questions, that’s super cool! You don’t have to answer any/all but these are some of the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this things I’m curious about: I can only bend my thumb toe for some reason, I think it was caused due to an accident when I had the cast on (I had to have it on for like 2 years so it was bound to fall off at some point it’s great because it’s like the feeling of a child falling over, but ten times better because you know your the reason and you can never be blamed muahahah it’s great because it’s like the feeling of a child falling over, but ten times better because you know your the reason and you can never be blamed muahahah I cracked up. You should add in making scary monster faces to the kids when the adults aren’t looking, then when the kid starts crying, turn around and smile at the parents and say it’s OK this happens all the time while waving at them. She was also born this way. One of her hands had three girthy fingers in the shape of an ASL “I Love You” with a little ball shaped finger (like your photo on the right) in between the non-thumb fingers. I called it her bally finger as a kid and loved it, and would wiggle it around. The other hand was in the shape of a “shaka brah” (pinkie and thumb out on a “normal” hand, which were the “normal” fingers) and then two other large ball shaped nubs, around the size of a small avocado pit.

She was born with webbed hands, and a couple of those ball shaped fingers were made with other bones(?) and skin from her stomach. Her hands were so normal to me, and I loved them because they were hers. As a baby/child, you pay a lot of attention to things like your parent’s hands. She passed away years ago, thanks for sharing this post and giving me a place to share this. I don’t have many opportunities to talk about it but I will always cherish the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this feeling of her hands cupping my face – her girthy ass fingers and bally. Ahhh that’s such a cute story! I’m sorry for your loss, that must’ve been super hard. I’m wishing happiness to you and your family And yeah, it’s pretty hard to find somewhere to talk about things like this. That’s why I just said “fuck it” and posted it here anyways. Your mother sounded like an absolutely beautiful woman. And we would’ve had a lovely conversation! I’m glad I could remind you of your mother
When you touch something… does it feel like it’s touching your original fingers or does it feel like it’s touching your foot? Not sure how to phrase this and I am genuinely curious, not trying to come off rude. That is actually a very good question! The truth is I don’t know. I’d say so, if you mean I feel on my hand and on my fingers? Yes. I do feel everything, but if I hurt a finger will the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this pain go through my hand? It’s never happened so I don’t know Yeah kids can be ASSHOLESSSSS. But I managed it When I show people it they’re like “huh cool” they might ask some questions and that’s that. I genuinely thought it wasn’t that interesting until this post and people started asking questions that I didn’t even know how to answer lol My son has Poland syndrome which means he is missing the fingers on his Rt hand. The Dr is trying to convince me he needs to put his toes on his hand. He is 6. I feel like that should be a choice he should make when he is older. Thoughts???

Hm, it’s tough to say. I would say 6 is a bit too old to put fingers on your hand imo. But in fairness I got them done when I was 1 year old sooo. Okay plus sides for no fingers: bionic hands are cheaper, and more affordable, it’s like buying a suit off the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this rack, rather than tailoring it. But they are expensive nonetheless. 2)that’s all I can think of really. There’s a great charity called ‘REACH’ which I am a part of, if you want to message them on Instagram they usually reply quickly. And they can give you a rundown of everything. All joking aside, it’s amazing how medical science can do this…. Me personally, I’d choose no fingers as I just don’t to feet well tbh. 1,282 more repliesIt’s awesome what science and medicine can do! Does the fact that you only have four toes on each foot cause any major issues with balance?
I had an uncle from Italy who as a child had a hand blown off by a mine during or in the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this aftermath of WW2. His hand looked similar to yours with 3 stubby fingers. It never stopped him from enjoying life! As an aside, I know there’s an organization in the UK called SpecialEffect which specializes on helping gamers with disabilities. Not sure it’s available where you are, but if nothing else they might know of similar organizations closer to you. I know you probably don’t have the time to read thousands of comments – but the OP has no foot limitations – and actually enjoys dancing. Are those your toes or someone else’s toes? And if it’s someone else’s toes you think their soul is still in that toe?
This is why modern medicine is great! So glad you got the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this opportunity to get some hand functions back, more power to you! Okay off topic but I make really fucking good mashed potatoes. Like none of y’all could compare. I bought a potato ricer just because I love making mashed potatoes so much it’s actually a problem. And actually.. and even bigger problem is that I hate the taste of mashed potatoes. I genuinely hate eating them but I love making them it’s a problem Cool deal. Based on your responses sounds like you’re living life man. Good for you bud. Adapt and overcome. ?? I once knew a guy who stuck his hand in a meat grinder as a child. He had his toe surgically attached for his thumb and they reattached two others. He was a climbing arborist last I checked.
Ok so you don’t have to answer if you don’t feel like it, more so for personal curiosity since I am / was in a similar situation ( both hands partial amputated from digits, left a little luckier since it kept the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this thumb( palms are fine, left thumb with minor limited mobility, a third of left pointer but the rest from knuckles to tip are gone)) I was given the option to transfer toes but went prosthetics route ( can show pics if op is interested) in the words of my orthotics guy “ there is no perfect prosthetic & no better one than your original set, but technology advances at an exponential rate and breakthroughs in science and medicine are made daily” prob said that more so to cheer me up but the comparisons of both old and new prosthesis backed it up, also helped sway my decision
just curious on your overall experience with both hand and donor sites? sensitivity wise? ( I know when I randomly bump into anything hard enough feels like lighting shooting into arm), functionality of donor toes? Strength? Grip?(big one personally) flexibility and mobility? Adjusting to balance while walking? When It was recent for me they gave me option of any toe & research I did highlighted how crucial really any toe is for balancing ( was contemplating pinkies and pointers back then) that plus sports played a part in decision. Adjustment took / still is a huge thing but I can do most things without the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this prosthetics, use them for more detail / dexterity oriented task, but almost always try without before.
also want to share that it’s pretty cool of you to share as well, when I was going through with it, self image consciousness beat me tf up ( much better now, but def had to work at it), still there, but now I just go about my day and do my own thing, so thank you! Amniotic band syndrome? I have 2 deformed fingers on my left hand. Had 10 surgeries to make the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this hand functional. Hasn’t held me back in life, although I remember being really ashamed of it when I was young. Ok, long story short, I run a 420 friendly standup show and people approach me with new products. There’s a grinder by “banana bros” where it grinds and deposits into a preroll. It’s not my company so I don’t want to post a link if it’s against the rules. But if this interests you lemme know. Good question! I just put them on. The left finger is in the same position, and works like a thumb, the right finger is in the same position as the ring finger
I had a friend growing up with similar. The ball-and-socket-joint on their thumb combined with the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this original NES Turbo controller made them a formidable foe in Tetris. Mate, shaking your hand almost made it on the bucket list. Be like shaking Captain Gantu’s hand. Be careful how you use that weapon. had a high-school bud who was a thalidomide baby who had a similar operation. man, could he roll a doobie. amazing. Can you upload a video of you typing or doing something with that hand? Would be cool seeing how someone gets used to having toes for fingers. I’m sorry you had to go through that! But I agree toes make INCREDIBLE thumbs, they’re longer, they have more grip. One downside thought is that your not able to curve them a full 90 degrees I was obviously joking— but after reading the context of how it has gifted you your dexterity again; I must say congratulations! Slap da bass and kick ass at video games, stranger! Gotta follow through with the consequences anyway, no matter the meltdown. The little demons have to learn somehow, or else they end up like my nephews. my nephews get threatened but never any actual consequences and they continue to act like feral animals. They don’t like coming over to my house because I don’t let them get away with their typical bullcrap. lol. And most kids will listen to reason after like 4 or 5, unless your crotch goblin is just a spawn of Chuckie and wants destruction
I’ve got a 4 year old and the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this period of washing a washing machine and understanding cause and effect do NOT overlap… This all that”reasoning” with children under 5/6 is bullshit it may work but the complexity of actions and causality is just something small kids don’t understand I found my kids responded just fine to me showing I was displeased with them. Ultimately it’s praise and reward that steers them to good behaviours. If I started dishing out harsh punishments for every mistake the kids would react awfully and I’d be dishing out more punishments and everyone is just always miserable. It’s an awful cycle. This was obviously a toddler. Those kinds of consequences do not translate at this age. You can’t reason with a baby who can barely speak. This is a learning experience for the parents about boundaries and supervision and that is all. Your nephews have much bigger problems apparently. Samsung door gaskets (or most other parts) are CRAZY expensive, easy $100 or over as the way these washers are constructed there is no simple ‘replace rubber seal’s part. One major reason to avoid Samsung like the plague: they break down often, band are massively expensive to repair. Random side note I’ve been thinking about. So kids know? Do they know the meaning of washboard abs? Do they understand? HAS ANYONE TOLD KIDS WHAT A WASHBOARD IS. WHY DO I KNOW WHAT IT IS. WHO TAUGHT ME. Most people don’t even use washboard anymore!
Surprisingly, it was upon joining my second jug band. The first didn’t have a washboard player. Or a jug. In fact I’m starting to suspect it wasn’t a jug band at all, just a court-ordered community service youth group that suddenly got superpowers after a storm. Wow. I played in a jug band in middle school. Our music teacher put it together. Haven’t thought about that in a long time. I played the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this spoons. Wasn’t good enough for the washboard or the washtub bass. I guess all the good instruments involved cleanliness! It blows my mind how many people don’t know you can play the jug. My party trick is getting 3 people to harmonize their beer bottles. But to answer your question, depending on your age, you may have learned about it from cartoons. I learned what a washboard is from The Little Mermaid when all the palace maids gossip about Ariel while accidentally torturing Sebastian.
I’ve never heard of those, but since my parents were both the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this babies of their families, I did have four Greatest Generation grandparents who talked about warshboards occasionally I only know what they are because my parents had them hanging up in the laundry room with a wash basin next to the washer and drier. Tom and Jerry definitely had some washboard scenes… but wait, do kids know about Tom and Jerry?? Please tell me they know about Tom and Jerry! What about Popeye? Do kids even know who Bluto is? I personally only know about washboards from cartoons, I assume that’s where most people these days know ’em from too. I feel like for a while, even in things set in relatively modern times, they’d still show characters washing clothes on washboards. Gotta show them the Gene Wilder Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory, I guess. Or maybe some old cartoons, there seem to be dashboards everywhere in those. Nah, washboards are new-fangled contraptions made for lazy folk. Give the kid a couple of rocks like our great great grannies used; it’ll take years to wear ’em out and he’ll soon learn the value of a hard day’s work. The tub of the washing machine with the bad gasket? Oh, you’re right! It’s just that one hole, so sure, of course, put the kid in with the clothes and have them keep a finger over the hole! Much easier for everyone. I wish I’d thought of that.
Samsung is straight up bullshit. The bin for the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this door to the Samsung fridge was over 100 bucks. It’s a plastic fuckin bin! They need to face their consequences because they’re just typing in random numbers as they go along. my entire kitchen and laundry room, minus the dishwasher, are Samsung. Going on year 8 with no breakdowns yet. (fingers crossed) Only reason we went Samsung was that the Fridge, Range, Microwave/Range Hood, Washer, Dryer were under $1700 CAD total when we bought them. I remember when people bought Maytag and Whirlpool. Samsung, LG, and all these other companies weren’t even in the market back then. My washer got bricked by a software update and it took two months to get a replacement part because every single person that had the same washing machine had the same thing happen all at once. We bought ALL new appliances when we bought our house (washer, dryer, stove, dish washer, fridge) but will never buy Samsung anything ever again. Is getting a smart phone notification that your laundry is done worth connecting a washer/dryer to your wifi? I just never connected mine lol. Yep. I call it flashy trash. After they burnt me on a fridge with clearly a few design flaws I will never buy another Samsung appliance out of spite. The ice maker issue I can look past tbh, because all brands in fridge door ice is prone for issue (although knock on wood my LG one is doing well so far), but the defroster issue for the fridge was unforgivable. It was a clear design flaw, but they refused to issue a recall on it. An appliance isn’t like tech, they may be the same price range these days, but people don’t want to deal with buying new appliances every few years like many would with a new phone, I don’t think they realize this Oh, right on. That’s awesome. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw it. Nothing like a cheap five minute fix to a pain in the ass problem
All you have to do is put a piece of tape on the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this opposite side then use liquid rubber or flex seal to “paint” that section back into existence Yeah, because replacing it means almost completely disassembling the washer. I watched a video because I wanted to replace mine and 5 minutes in I decided the could fuck themselves. As someone who works in the appliance industry, please do not buy Samsung appliances. They are a tech company, not an appliance company. I promise you you don’t need a fridge that can tell you the weather or that you can check FB from. I had to work with a sister brand that Samsung owns and they literally do not have a warranty department despite performing warranty work. This was a nightmare for me and by the end of it I told them the company I work for could not work with them because there was no way for me to contact them by phone and they took 3 – 7 days to respond via email. The part is definitely overpriced, but the replacement isn’t hard if you can use basic hand tools. Doing it the first time took me a couple hours, but the second time was under an hour start to finish. And yes, I had to do it twice with the same washing machine… one of many reasons I’ll never buy Whirlpool appliances again.
Replaced the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this gasket on mine last year, hardest part is getting the tension spring hooked to the retainer ring. I gave blood that day. I gave up and bought the right tool for the job. 2 hours of pain, then 10 minutes of why the fuck didn’t I just buy the right tools. It’s literally just called a washer spring expander tool. There are a couple of versions out there. I bought one after I had to work on my washer and spent two hours fighting the spring. I ended up getting it on with a wood clamp zipped tied to the spring to pull it open. It was the most rigged up kluge ever. I ordered the tool from Amazon before I was done but kept at it till I had my mcguyver moment I just replaced mine in an LG last week. Took a couple of hours and was a pain in the ass even with the right tool.
All you have to do is put a piece of tape on the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this opposite side then use liquid rubber or flex seal to “paint” that section back into existence I fixed mine by following this video for like $15, 20 mins and a piece of cardboard a few years ago. I was proud of it every time we did laundry and used it for over 3 years until we eventually upgraded to a top loader. Is there any clocking to them, could you just put the bite mark at the top? Good chance that would stop most of the leaking. My dog did this, he nibbled it during Covid. Took like 3 months to get the part& they didn’t send us the right part. They literally sent us a cast iron griddle. Instead of the rubber seal. I actually cried when I found what he did.
Ugh that reminds me when my dog did this to my cpap mask! I can’t sleep without the First Christmas As A Dad 2024 Family Matching 1St New Dad Shirt in other words I will buy this cpap my apnea is so bad. And the dog ruined the seal multiple times during covid. Had to use duct tape to fix it and it didn’t work nearly as well as rubber material for making a seal on a beard. And cpap mask seals aren’t really something you can just 1 day shipping from Amazon. Sucked. At least I didn’t receive a cast iron griddle instead I guess. This kid literally chewed bits off a washing machine, you think it’s smart enough to survive wash clothes? Drop kick it into a river and save some future headaches. Counter argument: He’s strong enough to take a bite out of washing machine. Imagine how quickly he could wash clothes It’s a major pain in the ass to fix if it’s a Samsung. The gasket itself is probably $50 to $150. But the whole washer will most likely not last 5 years anyway.
