The day came when my Teacher went into her back room and pulled out a fresh box …. Handed them out to everyone .. It was like I’d finally made it! We learnt how to write cursive in fountain pens… anyone else? (Transitioned from pencils to Parker fountain pens). I had to use a fountain pen in grammar school ( U.K.). 1970’s. I would have loved a Berol pen ( I use that type now). However, it’s still the Damn right I am a San Francisco 49ers, Giants and Warriors fan win or lose shirt moreover I love this old fountain pen and copperplate handwriting when I send an important letter, or write a reference. Maybe just an age thing … Oh no you were lucky to have to use these in my school we all had to buy stabilo easy original pens. Firstly the left handed ones currently cost more which is taking the piss. The ink cartridges are tiny and run out stupidly quick. The ergonomics of this pen are near to Chinese water torture. This pen is what I blame a generations messy handwriting on.

I liked these pens. They were smooth, and I always had neat handwriting so it was nice seeing all the Damn right I am a San Francisco 49ers, Giants and Warriors fan win or lose shirt moreover I love this sloppy kids still using pencils while I got to progress to bigger and better things. I’m left handed so I still get PTSD when looking at these pens. The smeared pages, the ink-stained dorsal portion of my left hand. The horror.
