My brain loves an excess of mental imagery. A friend once told me I had rubbed off enough on her that it made a trip to her dentist Hell. I was so shocked when i learned that people had internal voices and I was so amazed and felt like I was missing out. Now that I’m older, I’m happy I don’t have that voice because I can guarantee it would just tell me all the Chiefs Get It Done Shirt and by the same token and shitty things about me All the time. My internal voice is pretty loud and strangely enough speaks English all the time (my mother tongue is Dutch). All the time. I have my son with me, so he and I talk a lot. But my anxiety also creates inner conversations. Those are fun. You’re not dumb, you’re untuned. Like a guitar out of tune. An engine not in time….it’s not harmonious. It’s not listenable. It’s audible….but not listenable. It’s very subjective. I have inner monologues continuously. My partner almost none and if any are usually not pleasant. It’s a good thing I do. It vets my Chiefs Get It Done Shirt and by the same token and conversations before I say them, makes sure I don’t do anything stupid. I have two voices, does anybody else have two voices? Theyre both “me” and they talk to each other. Some game cube controllers have a factory defect in them that give them a competitive advantage in super smash bros melee. I can’t remember how but you can look up videos on it I just want one to play with for years to come hopefully! Couldn’t unsee it and I currently don’t have the Chiefs Get It Done Shirt and by the same token and spare money for another one while keeping this one. To be fair, it does fit the sub. Infuriating but just mildly so as to not ruin your day when you look back up at the screen and play. Returning something to the store is a mild inconvenience, I don’t see why that would mean this is more than mildly infuriating If I paid… what are these like 80 bucks now or something? Wait lemme check, I refuse to delete any of what I’ve typed though, I will leave it as a monument to my poor planning Anyway, if I paid 75 bucks for something I’d want it to be as close perfect as it could be. It would be a matter of principle at that point imo For real though, I get paid ok money but it really gets sucked up by everyday expenses, so 75 dollars is quite the investment for me. If I’m paying that amount of money for something as simple as a game pad, then it better be a damn good game pad. If an off center button passed QA, then it’s not unlikely something else did to. I need that 75 dollar investment to last as long as possible and a glaring issue as simple as a fucked up button does not build confidence in the quality of the rest of that unit. I also work in the electronics industry (very very different electronics admittedly, commercial AV processors are in no way similar to PS5s aside from running on the same electricity) but specifically in support. A visual defect is almost always just the tip of the iceberg.
“Pretty nuts” no people just want atleast basic quality for a 100 dollar controller. The only thing nuts is people thinking this is an unreasonable request. Now I need to consciously not look at my controllers in case I have one like this. Once you see it you can’t unsee it. The majority of people don’t. But once you notice something like this you will constantly notice it. For perhaps something like 0.01% of total time I used that thing. The other 99.99% I didn’t mind. “oh look my brand new iPhone I bought from Apple, oh wait the volume button is scratched up and a different colour to the rest of the brand new phone?? oh whatever, it’s probably unique and at least it’s functional!” This is what a bunch of the comments sound like. If something isn’t up to par, functionally or cosmetically, OP has all the right to return it.

I think it’s fair tbh, but I hate that they’ll probably throw it away now instead of gifting it to some kid that cannot afford it themselves or something… 15 hr. agourses and/or doctors (you may have never seen or met) declares that you are able to ‘function normally in society’, do you get released. Its basically time-out for grown ups. Even worse, hospitals and mental wards are somehow ALWAYS full and never have enough beds. If you aren’t a big enough risk or danger, you WILL get turned away from them. Fucked up, when you can walk into hospital, tell them that you feel suicidal, and they say go home, sleep on it, contact the Chiefs Get It Done Shirt and by the same token and local Community Services Board in the morning.
