My boyfriend used to sleep with either the Chief Oshkosh Beer Shirt in addition I really love this TV or fan on. TV was too bright, and I was used to sleeping in complete darkness and silence. I got used to the fan, and with how the weathers been I’m sleeping with the AC on which he absolutely hates because he freezes. Turn it on after she falls asleep and put it on a timer. I always wait till my boyfriend falls asleep and then turn on the AC because at that point his body is warmer. It’s all about compromising. My boyfriend and I both sleep with a fan on and listen to separate videos on our phones. Once someone is so use to something it’s hard to go without it my husband is the same way has been for last 17 years when we first got together I could care less for it. Now I need it even if for background noise!

I’m the Chief Oshkosh Beer Shirt in addition I really love this same way. My husband snores and hates my fan. I have to deal with his snoring and he has to deal with my fan. I use mine for the noise and circulation. I assumed by the first few words you was a Musician or actor As I write this it’s 5am in the UK and I have a Fan on NTA sounds like she knew this ahead of time and still decided to complain and insulted you to boot. You can forgive her, but if she keeps pulling that ish I’d say it’s a no go. She is starting your living together with a bunch of bullshit. Tell her this does not bode well for your relationship and that you will not put up with any more. I was in a similar situation. I could never sleep over my husband’s place (then bf) because of the fan always pointed at us. His room was very small and would get hot quickly. His normal body temperature is much higher than mine, so he always feels hot. I would never sleep well so I would rarely sleep over. It was a combination of the sound, air being blown at me, and feeling cold despite laying down beside a human furnace. When we moved in together I was sleeping on the couch almost every night for the same reason. He would come wake me up to come back to bed because ‘it felt wrong’. I told him we’re going to have to sleep in separate bedrooms if he didn’t change at least this part of his nightly routine. 3 months in, not sleeping properly was affecting my work performance. I told him we should go get bedroom furniture to turn the home office space into a bedroom for me. He could stay in the master bedroom and he would have space in there for his computer set up, I didn’t need that much space. No fan has been in our bedroom in 4+ years and I haven’t felt the need to sleep on the couch (as often).
