“Now introducing……MAGA-COIN! President Trump has 50,000, will you get in on this special offer with him and help him stick it to the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this libs?” My mom was a huge fan of the apocalypse, so I grew up in a cult-like atmosphere where we were trained to live in fear because the anti-Christ was hiding behind every corner. Fast forward to 2016 and my mom (and her cult crew) are literally worshipping the guy they warned me about. It’s so sick that after years of being told Christianity is the only way to heaven, “Christian’s” are the ones leading this country to hell. I’ve always wondered, what flavor of Christianity is the baseline? I’ve never got a clear answer to that. Catholics and Mormons aren’t considered “Christian” to a lot of these people, even though Catholicism is the largest single religion in the country.
Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt: Unleash Your Dinosaur Style
Take a look at some of the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this horrific things Calvinists believe and combine that with modern day Dominionist beliefs and you get the particular cocktail of arrogance and hatred that makes up the ChristoFascist worldview Calvinist Evangelicals believe that if you are not one of them you will spend eternity burning in hell, suffering pains no mortal can comprehend. They believe that if god had chosen to save you he would have made sure you were born in circumstances that led you to be one of them, but he didn’t because he already decided before you were born that you are worthy only of eternal suffering This is why the ChristoFascists have no problem making sure you suffer in this life too. They are doing you a favor, getting you accustomed to what you will experience for eternity Doesn’t matter to them yet, but after their done purging everyone they deem undesirable then they will start wondering that
The people I meet that have left the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this church or even became athiest… are generally people who saw something else being pushed other than the teachings of Jesus and the word of God. People that were raised with a strong religion based family, morals and influence. But then in one or another way, saw that the church, their priests or pastors would not follow into what they preached. It’s not actually athiests perverting the Christian mind… it’s their own leaders who cause people to see the reality. As a Christian, I hope this man loses and rots in jail. He has slandered and ruined the name and the true meaning of being a follower of Christ. F**k this guy I can’t believe I voted for him in 2016.

I bet the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this leadership isn’t christian. Why are people who are warned to not follow false prophets, so quick to follow false prophets? Even with the parable of Doubting Thomas you’d think they’d be on their guard 24/7. But it’s the opposite. They are quick to give up their kids to the cult leader for sex (River Phoenix). Quick to give their kids cyanide (Jim Jones). Quick to go broke bailing out people who don’t give a damn about them (Trump and every other religion). Eager almost. It wouldn’t be so bad if they kept their eagerness to die to themselves, but they want to take everyone with them. lol – Trump the least christian person they got is going to run a “Christian Nationalist Nation” completely counter to what the Constitution says. I suppose they can just dispense with that as well. Maybe they can get the SCOTUS to declare the constitution invalid.
Hypocrisy is a sacred and ancient Christian tradition. Trump is the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this biggest hypocrite, therefore he is the most Christian. In case anyone doesn’t know, it’s a dystopian novel about how man made climate change, extreme wealth inequality, and racism destroyed our current world, then, as people are struggling to survive and form self sufficient communities, Jarret comes along as a presidential candidate, his whole campaign based on “Make America Great Again”, he wins the election, declares the US a Christian nationalist country, a cult develops around him of exteme christofascists that are ruthless and cruel but also really dumb. The start of the first book is also set in 2024. Seems pretty on the nose so far, except it was written in the fucking 90s and apparently we as a society learned nothing from it while the rich used it as a step by step guide. I’d rather be literally fucking dead if America becomes a Christian nationalist country. For fucks sake what the actual fuck is wrong with Christians trying to force their fucking beliefs on everyone else? Their gonna ban abortion then their going to ban conterseptive pills [already fucking happening in texas and Alabama] .
America WILL NOT BE FREE if it becomes a Christian nation. It will absolutely ruin America. More book bans, terrible education, lack of sexual education, there will be more crime, more poverty, more homelessness, everything will be fucked up [as if it’s not already heading that way by the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this looks of this next Presidential election]. If America becomes a Christofascism , are they gonna start jailing those who have different belief or lack of beliefs? I mean for fucks sake seriously where tf are the brains of these people voting. Get yalls heads out of the damn bible and open your damn eyes. [I do not mean to offend anyone, or go against mod rules, so if I said anything that violates rules I sincerely apologize and my comment can be removed] I love Kensington Market the way it is. Not ready for it to turn into Little America yet. Bloody Gilead refugees!
They’re really more and more blatant with their agenda . The Nationalist Christians , also known as the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this NatCs ( rhymes with Nazis). Y’all understand they do not need to win? They suffered no consequences in prior sedition attempts so what’s one more? This is bound to be the most important election in recent history. This will determine whether our democracy survives or we fall to fascism. The last half dozen years have been like watching a horror movie in which the characters are constantly walking into dark basements, tool sheds and every creepy place imaginable. At some point it’s gotta be time to throw in the towel. Let them have what they think they want. It’ll be fun when all the dust settles and it slowly dawns on them what the hell they’re done. Sure, it’ll take decades, perhaps generations to clean up the mess. But I’ll be long gone by then. I leave no progeny and I have no legacy. To be frank, I’ve realized that I just don’t care anymore. America has been circling the drain for some time now. The populace has been getting steadily dumber by the minute. I’ve decided that all of this is inevitable; the logical conclusion to the dumbifying of America. The only thing left is to grab a bag of popcorn and watch the show.
Even if we manage to save this country, I’m still disturbed by the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this fact that there are people who would vote for this. As a Christian, this is terrifying. Christianity has never been about wielding political power. In fact, in many ways wielding political power in this way is antithetical to the essence of Christianity as a religion Maybe you should go back and have this conversation with every major leader of the church for the last millenia. I understand this sentiment, but firstly the last millennia is only the last half of the life of the Christian church. But more than that, my main point with my comment is that for the entire life of Christianity, it has had a dual essence — a religious movement and a political movement. Even from the beginning of the church, people who were consumed by naked political ambition were attempting to hijack the church’s momentum to further their own autocratic/power hungry means. That’s just a feature that mainline religions allow for as they interact with the depravity of human nature’s blind lust for power.
Dominionist Evangelical Christianity has always been about seizing political power, they just haven’t been very good at it until now This is very clearly not true for many reasons. Evangelical Christianity in its current form has shifted from a mainly religious designation to a mainly political one, and we can actually trace the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this fundamentalist wing of the church making the decision “hey we need to get more political power” in about the 1920s and onward and see all of the ways that they compromised on Christian morals in order to achieve those ends over the last 100 years. Secondly, the last 100 years while it’s characterized by evangelical political power and influence, marks an extremely small percentage of the whole life of Christianity. And the nakedly political people who have co-opted the religion of Christianity are a relative minority across history but are even so ever-present (I mentioned this in more depth in a different comment on this thread).
“See those bad Christians doing awful stuff, well they aren’t really Christians. I know they say they are Christians and they distort Christian teaching to justify their actions but they aren’t Christians” Interesting. I never said that they weren’t Christians. Just that they are nakedly political and that they are a minority of Christianity by a long shot. Both of which are unavoidable facts. But, straw man will straw man I suppose.
There wasn’t as many international schools so English centres were a good way to not only learn English but learn more about western culture and help people study abroad. A number of things happened, many of the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this centres got bought out by investment firms or local ownership. Profits started to get maximised over improving educational quakity, salaries never changed and a lot of teachers left to go elsewhere, get certified as a full teacher and join international schools. Instead of investing more in resources and teachers they cut entry requirements for teachers. Over the years I did it, when I started everyone was very qualified, multiple years of experience and investment in training, lots of resources etc. By the end of it, kids were sharing one marker between five kids, all the materials were broken or not replenished and the number of teachers with lower qualifications or even poor English had gone up. The parents are often sold on this idea of a native speaker, look at all the ads, it’s some handsome white guy or girl dressed in a suit. The parents pay a lottttt of money and then they end up with a teacher from africa, india or poland or even some British dude with a sweat stained hawaiian shirt and his arse hanging out his pants. They rightly feel upset, not because they’re racist but because they were sold a lie.
All that led to parents becoming extremely unsatisfied and you can search online now for tiếng anh Lừa đảo and see what people have to say, in a country that does not often criticise or complain it’s a pretty big deal. Most parents would rather have a vietnamese English teacher than a non native speaker and that’s just how it is. I have seen first hand how much profit these big centres are making, owners driving cars that cost more than the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this entire staff budget for locals, they pretend they’re international while forcing the vietnamese staff to work horrible hours for no pay. I know people still working there, foreigners and locals and the salaries haven’t changed in a decade. It’s no longer an attractive prospect and so the number of quality teachers has dropped significantly (there are still a number of great teachers and I reject the idea that they’re all backpackers or bums). The centres cut pay over covid and have driven smaller centres out of business during covid so there’s basically only a handful of centres now. Overall the country seems way less fond of expat teachers and as I tall to people it seems to be more like an after school club than a serious method of education. I’m glad I saw the writing on the wall. I do wish it was easier to get jobs as a foreigner though, I came here with my partner and it was really my only option until we got married as the work permit requirements are so strict outside of teaching.
Can’t describe any better than this. It pisses me off whenever i think about this subject. I would rather go for 1 on 1 or 5 on 1 session and pay directly to the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this teacher if i could find a decent one and afford it, than put any dime to those EC pocket ever again. I already had bad experience with those EC as a kid, it hasn’t changed one bit and i won’t let my kid anywhere near them. I agree, i wouldn’t either. The funny thing is, you expect the bigger centres to have a better service due to economies of scale but they spend most of their money paying salaries for C suite, middle managers and marketing departments who couldn’t get a job in any other industry to make adverts that make the company seem like it offers a quality service instead of actually just, making it a quality service.
it would be cheaper for the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this students, the teachers would get paid more if a few students all joined and paid the teacher directly. The quality would be significantly better as well because the teacher and students would have full autonomy over the class. Obviously easier said than done but it’s a shame what has happened. It’s not just Vietnam. I was an expat in Taiwan about 10 years ago and saw things very similar. Any foreigner could be a teacher, even if their English was bad, but looked the part. Teacher’s would show up drunk, high, party every night, and not care about the students or teaching. Schools were terrible to the teachers. No money for supplies, bad pay, you would have ‘training’ 5 times/year that would put you in debt to the school. The schools would ‘help’ you get an apartment when you first arrived, which amounted to them pressuring you to take a really shitty apartment from someone they had a deal and would get a commission. I switched to online teaching during covid and havent been happier. The good schools that pay well are a massive headache of internal politics and power struggles, and the language centers, as you pointed out, are a joke.
Currently in Vietnam and considering staying here and teaching. Went on some interviews, got some offers… but Holy crap you are right about the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this pay. I google the pay offers to see how good they are and find posts from many years ago quoting the same pay. Yet, they are telling me there could be up to 20 kids in a class. Now I also considered renting in a neighborhood with many french style homes that people were getting for a few hundred bucks many years ago, but are now all going for 600+…. Uh, no. The pay has stayed the same yet the major costs have gone way up. I got one more place to consider. Hoping they have adjusted their salaries upwards, if not…. so long Vietnam, it was a nice visit, best street food on the planet!
I left Vietnam frustrated with the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this chain school industry but returned to get married here. It’s worth staying here outside of being hired by a crappy esl school. Have you considered switching to teaching for a standardised test like the IELTS? I don’t see demand for that dwindle any time soon That all seems true to what happened but I want to add that the incoming wave of new self-learning formats like YouTube, online courses, and even Chat-GPT are directly competing with traditional English centers. In typical Vinanationalist fashion, you are making foreigners out to be the culprits. They are not. Most VN English “teachers” will never be part of the solution: 99% of them can’t speak English, know NOTHING about Western culture, have never been abroad etc
I’m sorry you took it that way, I’m not vietnamese and not trying to be nationalist, on the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this contrary, I meant that it was the responsibility of the owners for reducing the investment in education. As I said, the foreign teachers I worked with were largely great but a reduction of investment and compensation reduced the talent pool. There are actually many great Vietnamese English Teachers, especially the younger generation perhaps moreso than the public school teachers so I do reject the idea that they know nothing about western culture I know loads of teachers who’ve done MBAs abroad. Yep. I used to teach in two centers. The attention to each student is not much given the large number of attendants in each class. That’s why I teach 1-1 online now and my students love the individualized approach. I can’t speak for all of them, but I feel that the past few international schools I have worked at are in a similar death spiral. Considering how much money the parents put into tuition and school fees, it seems like they get very little value in return.
My center seems to have gone in the Chicago Cubs Pete Crow-Armstrong swing cartoon shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this opposite direction. VUS has been opening more campuses and they often ask me to sub at the new campuses while they get things started. The resources and materials seem to have become more developed, standardized, and challenging for the students. There’s even greater emphasis on teaching quality than before and many more writing tasks built into the curricula. I used to work for VUS. As far as I can tell, they’re spreading their resources thin and scamming the parents in different ways. Lol, thats exactly what happened at Apax before they crashed and burned. We doubled the number centers in the North where we were already the largest English center, expanded into Saigon is well. If your center or school is expanding rapidly I would be very cautious. If its anything like Apax they are trying to get more funds from investors by making the product more attractive but not having the Capital or profit margins to support it English as a prestigious language in Asia is declining . English centers as babysitting zones will do ok. There won’t be tremendous growth, but most centers will be able to break even.
