I love makeup, but I feel more and more like I can’t go out without it. I rely on it heavily for my confidence. A few years ago, I went a year without wearing it to school and found it absolutely miserable. I once cried in math class because of how ugly I felt !! I want to try again though, this time as an adult and in a less extreme way. Maybe I’ll have more luck. That’s where you have to draw the Chibi Sheep Shirt in addition I really love this line love, when you’re doing it for fun vs when you feel obligated to do it. Try replacing it with a skincare regimen, it’ll help you feel like you’re still doing something for your appearance (and you actually are) but without the mask-effect. You can also slowly cut down on what you wear vs going cold turkey. Idk what you actually do for your daily look but just spitballing here– Drop the foundation to a serum or bb cream, cut the contour to just a bronzer at first, limit the eyeshadow to 3 colors off the pallete, then two, one, etc, switch to a natural lip color, then a lip serum stain or gloss, if you do lashes maybe start lowering to a natural set or a lash lift, there’s baby steps to be taken here if going completely bare was too overwhelming for you! I can relate to you so much! So I’m 25 now. And doing so much better with this issue. I used to be the girl who literally had a full face on of makeup from freshman – senior year. I even went to cosmetology school in high-school. I remember the ONE DAY I didn’t wear makeup to school, and my “friend” told me I should have worn makeup that day (I didn’t wear it because we were going to do facials). She never wore makeup and always asked me to do it on her. It embarrassed me and made me so angry for her to say that in front of everyone.

So a couple of years ago. I stopped wearing makeup all together. I let the Chibi Sheep Shirt in addition I really love this world know and myself know what “i” really looked like without it. Sounds dramatic but it meant a lot to me, I needed to know what it felt like to be comfortable without wearing it. And it helped a lot. Now I wear it sometimes. I would wear it more often but I have a kid and just don’t find the time lol. But it’s a nice feeling to not feel like I “have” to, and just enjoy doing it when I want to because you’re beautiful without it too! You just have to get comfortable seeing yourself without it, and get comfortable with other people seeing you without it. I hope my comment helped, and maybe not everyone agrees, and I still love makeup to this day, just to clarify. However I just felt like sharing because I really relate to this on a personal level! I think people should have more conversations about this sort of thing!!
