As a parent now I realize my dad was never mad at me, he was worried about me and just didn’t know how to say that. He didn’t say he loved me very much. Their biggest mistake with me was not using protection. Now I’m out here in the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this world, against my consent. I’m not having kids, so that prevents that mistake from being repeated. I might let me kid make more decisions, and may be try to be gentle with her, but tbh i am not sure whether it is a good idea….. You see….my dad used to be very strick with me, I remembered that I cried almost everyday when I was a kid. He would just asked me to stop and shut down my feeling. But this kind of training made me very thick skin, at least in the workplace and school. My capacity of taking insult is large. My emotion is so clam that I had a nickname of buddha when I was in uni. It did somehow make me learn more In the workplace and accept criticism from other people. However……the drawback is that I found myself cannot really say no to other people, and I think I also have serious boundary issue in relationships. I cannot speak for myself. If I am too lenient to my daughter, I am afraid that she might become some kind of ungrateful and entitled adult in the future. Smoking around them. I grew up with my parents smoking inside the house, in the car. Once I hit 11 or 12 i was stealing cigarettes and have smoked ever since. When I have kids I hope to not be like this.

Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt: Unleash Your Dinosaur Style

Moving around, changing schools, leaving her with a nanny all day, letting her grandma guilt trip her because I have to work, let her be partially raised by grandparents, believing that all I do for her is a sacrifice, let her think that having divorced parents is something you don’t talk about… Make my kids believe that college after highschool is a must, even if I never plan on paying for it. My dad always drilled into my head that I need to go to college after highschool. Never had any intentions of helping me pay for it either. When I was graduating from high school, the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this pressure of knowing what I wanted to go to college for was overtaking me. I felt like a loser, not knowing what I wanted to do while all my classmates were applying for colleges. A friend suggested I go into nursing, I had the pre reqs, so why not. Well, I was accepted, put on a 2 year wait list, and couldn’t pay, so I applied for a loan. Needed to upgrade a course in the meantime, so I took random courses to get a full-time course load for approval. Got approved, dad was proud. Dropped out just before the program started because I figured it wasn’t for me and now I got debt. I eventually found the career I wanted but it took years and in still dealing with debt.
Placing blame on me without question. Every time I ever got into trouble when I was a kid, whether it was deserved or not, my Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this mum would ask what I did to deserve whatever had happened to me. Like, all bad things were my own fault, no matter what. I even ended up accepting blame for things I didn’t do because it was easier than trying to defend or explain myself. I will always stand up for my kids, and even when they made stupid choices I tried to understand why rather straight up assuming they are bad people. I always want them to feel like someone is in their corner. Drinking water. My parents never gave us water and it has been life long battle. My kids drink water as their first preference every time and I love it. Me: sure thing kiddo, gotta get you started on that ASAP tho… Also I fucking love you to bits, did I tell you so today? I did? Well I do love you to bits

Buy this Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt

Sounds pretty petty after reading some of these really tough submissions. However, I’ll never put my Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this worries/anxieties on my kid. I grew up with an undiagnosed depressed and anxiety riddled mother who was scared of everything. Couldn’t drive me places alone, I had to catch rides with other team mates. Always complained about $ and how much my dad worked to me and made it my fault. EVERYTHING was defcom 10 to her. Things as simple as needing a costume for a play, or bringing something into school. She couldn’t pump her own gas…. In her defense she always had some sort of job, but she would get SO stressed out about it. Her jobs were in a church mostly…. So I never grew up with a strong female fiqure, and I think I’m still trying to fiqure out how to be one…
Not me but my wife. Her father constantly berated her and tore her down anything she attempted . And would scream at her for litteraly everything. House too messy because he left his shit everywhere my wifes fault. Cant find his shit because my wife put everything away like he screamed at her to do my wifes fault. My wife wants to work on her dirt bike his response why your just gonna fuck it up you dont know anything. It was so bad that my wife would have emotional breakdowns when id come home early at like 2 in the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this afternoon and she didnt have dinner ready. Even after a 10 year long relationship of love and understanding and rarely if ever raising my voice at her. Not having kids, but probably good cop/bad cop. My father was away a lot and was never the one to dish out punishment. when he came home it meant basically a break from mom calling the shots. Mom was a great mom, never abusive but just strict and quick to take stuff away or send up to our room, and Harley ever said yes. Always the healthier food options and more about school and time schedules. Dad didn’t really care about that stuff so it was always pancakes, shopping, theme parks, fairs, ect. Before our Chores. Of course as an adult I can see how my mom was doing the best she could with two bratty kids. But at the time it put SO MUCH distance between myself and my mom that If it wasn’t for my HAVING to go back to living at home, our relationship probably would have stayed so strained I probably would have stopped talking to her.
The biggest mistake my parents made was having me. Everything they did and didn’t do after that did not matter that much. I am not bringing any new lives into this messed up world My parent was killed trying to save people that would do anything to help them selves, that’s why i won’t give my time to people who won’t make the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this first move I don’t want to be a parent in the first place because of my mother, but I do become one, I will try my best to not say hurtful things to my child(ren) in frustration. I’ll never tell them “just drown yourself” because they didn’t do their homework. I’ll never tell them “I never loved you in the first place” just because I wasn’t able to complete some work-related activity. I’ll never make them try to ‘earn’ their birthday gift by having straight ‘A’s (I’m not even a B student, but I try). I’ll never tell them to “stop watching cartoons” when they’re 8 years old. And most importantly, if I’m ever in a situation where I have to hit them to discipline them, I’ll never use anything other than my hand.
He was too soft, let me get away with too much. let me disrespect him. I won’t make that mistake. My kids will do exactly as they are told. She killed herself by intentional heroin overdose when I was 6. The only reason why I say I won’t do the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this same is because I was able to beat my fentanyl addiction. My father shouted at me, called me a whore, a bitch and every other name in the book. Why? For any reason he could find. Whatever was wrong at home, it was my fault. He also destroyed my things or at least tried to. He believed that fear means respect, but he’s wrong, I don’t respect him at all. Now that I’m expecting my first, I’m not going to let him see her unsupervised. At the slightest hint of aggression I’ll scoop her up and go home. He wanted me to be afraid of him, now he gets to reap the consequences of his actions. And needless to say, I’ll do all I can to never shout at my child.
My parents would smack our dogs after they had an accident on the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this floor. I now know that the dog had no idea what he was being hit for. It was worse than a useless act. When my mom got upset she would yell some really mean things, which I took to heart. Things like “this is why no one will ever love you!” Then after she had calmed down she wouldn’t say sorry but she would be mad at me for being upset, saying I should understand that people say things they don’t mean when they are upset. She was also obsessed with my weight and gave me lots of hang ups around that, so I will be avoiding that whole mess too. Being rude to everyone, insulting a lot, showing me that violence is the answer and then getting mad at me because I acted the way they did.Beating me up and when I even said it counted as child abuse they denied it and said I was wrong because it was justifiable, dismissing every single one of my problems and complaining about their problems as if I was their therapist, blaming me for everything my brother did wrong and comparing me to him and everyone else. They told me me I had anger issues because I got into fights (I never started a single fight and only ever defended myself, did I go too far?Yes because I was scared I’d get hurt by them again, not fair and I admit it), they even insulted me and denied it, they never taught me anything and when they tried to they gave up too fast, they also spoiled me a lot and told me “I love you” and things like that yet they never proved it to me, every time it came down to proving they loved me, they failed, every single time and they still do. On another note, they also raised me with internaliser misogyny, racism, xenophobia, classism and homophobia.
I’ll never do that to my kid, I don’t want to be an asshole and bring another kid to the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this world just to make them an asshole. I was an extremely shy kid and that frustrated my mom a lot to the point that she makes jokes at my expense or she would humiliate me. My eldest kid is 4 years old.. and while he somehow likes to socialize with people there are times when he is really shy to approach others.. I made sure to never humiliate him or to make fun of him if he feels shy to talk to other people. Slap in the face, pulling my ears, flicking me in the head (an adult doing this to a child hurts a lot) spanking and soap in the mouth. The ear pulling was the most painful and I cannot even fathom grabbing my child by the ears and pulling hard on them as a form of discipline. Same with soap, I am not going to force my child to swallow toxic chemicals to teach them a lesson. My parents said it was tough love and it made me turn out ok, I say it makes me tear up almost every time I think of my parents not caring about the physical pain they inflicted.
My mom always be telling me I ruined her life and the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this reason for some her struggles rn. She also treats me as her marriage counselor. I will definitely make sure my mental health is right before having a kid and won’t be saying such things to them. I will not leave my kids to flounder in generational trauma or leave them to figure things out on their own. As I continue to work on myself, I help them grow and purge anything they’ve picked up to this point. They will have tools and knowledge. My mom used to give us the silent treatment when she was really mad. Also she to this day doesn’t really listen to me. She never apologized unless sarcastically or with a “but” during a rant. She just never is wrong which can be very invalidating. There was also some heavy favouritism not towards me. I have an only child so that one’s okay for me. I always own up to and apologize for my mistakes with my kid, and will try to make it right. I will stop what I’m doing and get down and listen when I can. I will never ever ignore my child.
I’m reinforcing positivity with phrases like “I trust you” and “Let’s talk about it” and “Thank you for telling me that.” I am really (age appropriately) honest with my kid about both our feelings as well because my mom’s temper is quick and I feel that in myself when I’m frustrated. I’m doing a good job managing it, especially after a few therapy sessions. I know I’m going to screw my kid up in new and exciting ways because that’s what parents do, but I also know my mom did the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this best with what she had and we were parented a hell of a lot better than she was. My mom also has a lot of really amazing qualities and I never doubt she loves me, so I’m hopeful that by taking the route I am and trying to improve on my own raising that my kid will feel this even more than I do.
“Quit getting distracted and focus! Just pay attention! Try harder! Quit doing a halfway job!” No. It’s ADHD. Dyslexia. Those exist. They’re hereditary. They’re real. These phrases still trigger me fr I will never lay my hands on my children unless it is to grab them and hug them. I will always have food in my house and food prepared and ready, there will always be dinner made by 5pm and I will not chase my child down and tell them they will “be fat like their mother/father and friendless” because they are eating 4 frozen waffles because nobody made dinner. I developed a eating disorder and became so anorexic I needed rehabilitation. My organs were shutting down and I almost died. Dental care. My parents didn’t always remind me or make me brush my teeth every night before bed. When I was younger I would drink like 2-3 cans of soda while playing video games or watching tv and never brushed at night. It ruined my teeth and I am paying for it now. I just had a root canal done, my 5th one, and it’s expensive. I won’t put my kids dreams and goals down. I won’t laugh at them and belittle them to make them think they can’t do it. I won’t criticize their looks or weight whether too “skinny” or too “big”. I will make affection a normal thing. I will tell them I love them I will apologize every time when I’m in the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this wrong.
I have heard from friends who are parents that their identity is stripped away once they have kids; that society (United States) strips them of individuality and independence and labels them “mom” and “dad”. “Communication” as in “Proper Communication” If something is expected of me I always preferred to be told what is is exactly i need to do. My parents were always like- it is expected and be very vague about it. I have a child now who is 5. I tell him what he can or can not do and let him know why it is the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this way it is. They didn’t talk to my sisters and I about sex. It was a very taboo topic. Like uncomfortable to even refer to anything that may be sexual. Guess who ended up a pregnant and scared teen? Me! Not letting me get diagnosed with mental disorders, letting me do drugs, doing cocaine with me, cigarettes for my 12th birthday, calling me a fat a** because I stress ate at 9, not celebrating birthdays. But I’m happy my dad noticed his mistakes it sounds crazy but we’re close now
My kids always get individual Christmas gifts. Me and my brother always got the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this exact same things every year, took all the joy out of opening gifts cause it was always 2 of everything (and usually they were all things he’d asked for) So my kids always get different things, unless it’s a thing they both want or would enjoy they don’t get matching gifts. As much as I love my Mom now, one thing she always did when I was growing up was ALWAYS putting her boyfriends before my sister and I. It was so frustrating because I felt as if we were hardly shown any love, my Dad was in prison and My Grandparents were the only people who showed us the love my Mom did not. She was always willing to do any and everything for her boyfriends without thinking twice.
If my Daughters Mother and I ever break up and I get a new Girlfriend I will NEVER put anyone before my Daughter, truth be told I wouldn’t even put my Daughters Mother before my Daughter, and I made it clear I expect her to NOT put me before our Daughter either. Not allowing me reap the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this consequences of my actions. Preemptively correcting my mistakes/covering for me. I will not do this with my child. We learn by failing! I was born a week before Christmas, on the 18th. The day my birthday falls on is the day Christmas will be on the following week. I’ve always been forced to share my birthday with either my grandmother, who’s birthday is two days before mine, or with my youngest brother who was born in January. Or we just don’t do anything due to it being so close to the holidays. I didn’t even have a 16th birthday party at all, when my older brother got a limo rented for him to pick him and all his friends up from school. I can understand if my family couldn’t afford to really give me a party due to it being a week before Christmas, but I have have had to watch my three brothers all be given the attention they rightly deserve when their birthdays each come up.
I can’t imagine doing that to my kids one day as I feel it will make them resent me as I have my parents and grandparents I will not have kids, that’s what I’ll make sure won’t happen again. I made that decision at around age 10-11 when my brother was throwing a whopper of a tantrum in public. The kind where he was getting dragged out kicking and screaming out of a mall because he got told no for something – I remember thinking “I’m related to that, no way I want to deal with this one day” It would be to not raise them in organised religion and to let them safely explore different things that pique their interest Interestingly my teenager told me that he gets that I intend to do everything exactly the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this opposite way vs how my parents did it, but I’m also allowed to do things my way (as opposed to always reacting to how my parents were)
I pay attention to healthy habits (balanced diet, enough sleep, having our meals together in a stress free environment, doing sports together as a regular thing) I have never made fun of my kid or body shamed him or put him down. I enjoy and encourage him express his personality because that’s more important than fitting in a box Using shouting & physical violence, comparisons to other kids; about outer looks and smartness, ridiculing in front of others, putting shame on the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this child & twisting realities to justify my outbursts, putting shame on others & trying to make them look guilty to make myself look like a victim My childhood was absolutely fucked up but also taught me to be a nice and careful person, trying to be kind to others & honest. I couldn’t imagine getting my own children cause I always thought I was too traumatized & would treat my kids in the same way when overburdened. I thought I’m not worth it finding someone who loves me but now almost 20 years later I’m doing fine and hope I’ll rock it and give my child as much love as possible and can be a good mother ?
My folks would go from 0-100 instantly. Sort of “we are marching to the Cheech And Chong Yes Im Old But I Still Know The Good Stuff Is Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this school now, storming in and finding them” sort of stuff. I just kept quiet about any problems because I knew there would be a huge over reaction. Even now I don’t like to make a fuss.
