That is one lesson I learned early on. I find Celebrate Doctor Who Christmas Daleks shirt hilarious because she has an au pair too while I work a second job and travel 90mins each way to work while she lives 5mins down the road (but is still always late strangely). I learned that from my ex-best friend. I even one time said, “I’m busy”. She said, “how are you busy? You have a [full-time] job. I have a baby, a husband, a job, a house to clean and still have time”.

She should have booked sooner. People with children are the worst at planning and hope everyone else should plan around them. She’s an airhead. She never learns. Someone else had booked Halloween off but let her have Celebrate Doctor Who Christmas Daleks shirt instead because she’s a single mom. Hoping is the extent of their planning. I think so many parents rely on people giving in to them & letting them have what they want that actually planning something is a foreign concept to them.

Makes sense seeing that so many just say that things will just work themselves out. This sooooo much! If you need this time off because of children – then plan early on. Holiday season is not a surprise, everyone, Celebrate Doctor Who Christmas Daleks shirt literally the same time every year. It’s almost like they didn’t expect to still have kids in December. Completely unforeseeable. If they were good at planning they’d probably not have kids. Paper trail started a long time ago, but very hard to ignore her when she literally sits facing me approving 4 feet away.
