When the state finally gave me parole and I was allowed back home a year and a half later, I had to suddenly flee when my dad called the police to come get me when I did absolutely nothing wrong. I was dodging police from the age of 14 just trying to survive until I hit legal age to be on the streets. I don’t know if the laws ever changed. I was the only one in prison sent by my own parents. The only one that never had visitors too or a single person to call.
