A comma etc can make all the difference and the solicitor dealing with it can help you here. It may be 10% to each grandchild then you and your sister split the rest. Devil is in the detail of the wording. If the wording is clear then there should be no real risk of recourse. As it stands it’s really unclear, which is a problem because the percentages come to more than 100% – he needs it to be more explicit , either you get 50% each and it’s on you to give money to your kids, or he specifies a percentage to each kid then the residue is split equally between you and your sister, at the moment it looks like some wild mashup of the two which would leave you as the executor with a massive headache when trying to work out his intentions
