It’s an annoying sound. And I don’t worry about how much its applied, just pull handbrake as far as it goes (within reason) i’d rather it be extra stopped, than not stopped enough.

I know I’m fairly new to driving so I’m now wondering what other kinds of hand-breaks there are! Changing new cars next month… going from 6 years of a button handbrake to a handle one again.
