Now I’m curious about what approach I should take as I’m coming back. My plan was to change tactics and focus on posting one video per week instead of one video each day, but have it be much higher quality. I’d love to do this full time if it was a possibility and would gladly post videos every day. However, doing it as a hobby is unsustainable, even when you’re posting crappy videos. I’ve also considered starting other channels, specifically in my line of work (mental health), which seems to be a trending topic where I hold some authority. I would love your overall feedback and would love to hear your thoughts on what direction I should take my channel. What approach would you take if you were currently in my shoes? Any wisdom on dealing with monetization in niches like mine? I’m open to any and all feedback and if it can help me get better. Hi im pke, I started yt last month and currently am on 250subs, all my vids are getting around 2-4k and one reached 10k. And 100+ discord members I want to make technical videos (im a programmar and made my own pc mouse in the 100th Birthday It Took Me 100 Years To Look This Good Stars Old Birthday T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this shape of a glove that u can hold in the air) Also videos take me so long to make 🙁 I get home at 6pm and work till midnight on videos and only get to post once a week My hands hurt from working on pc xd I feel like im doing amazing but im also doing shit if that makes sense? Time also flies by so damn fast now – I barely talk with friends now I dont play anythign with anyone anymore Many big youtubers and streamers say they lost all their friends in the middle of their grind so ig thats just how it goes…. Idk I want to talk forever but i will call it here Hopefullly I made some sense here – there is just so much in my mind I’ve been at mine for ~14 months now, long form content, roughly three videos per week. Only ~3300 subs. I post educational software engineering content based on my 20+ years programming and 12+ years of professionally managing engineering teams. I like to think my content is helpful I only really post evergreen content though because I’m not really into just overhyped stuff. Feels unnatural to me. Growth feels incredibly slow given how much effort goes into this. I share stuff across 10+ social platforms too, including short form videos made from all of my content.
