Shipping & delivery details

If you’re paid hourly, you should be getting two 10-15 minute breaks and at least 30-60 minute lunch. Unless you live in a right to work state. Call your your local labor board or Google the Zimmer golden spirit shirt moreover I will buy this law in California He owes you the money for every lunch break you have missed. I’m California you report him to the labor commission 18 an hour as a plumber? In California? That sounds hilariously low. Report his dumbass for wage theft and find a new job. I live in WI which is a cheap place to live and the plumbing company I used to fix my basement’s sub-pump has emailed me multiple times saying I could make $80k – $120k yearly working for them part-time with 0 prior experience. Not allowed in California. A paid 10 minute rest break is required for every 4 hours worked (this does not specify at what point in your day it has to be given, but I’m sure it needs to be before lunch). Uninterrupted 30 minute unpaid meal break when working more than 5 hrs in a day. Every 4 working hours gives you a 10 minute rest period you get a minimum 30 minute lunch before every 5th hour worked. If you are not given breaks it’s illegal if you are not given a meal period you are legally entitled to a meal premium that being an hour of pay. Dude. Ask your friends at work how they deal with it. Trades are a different breed. Many of these commentators are just like “sue the guy and take your lunch exactly at noon for exactly an hour …. Etc etc etc “. As you prove yourself I’d imagine the boss will cut you some slack ,you are still a new youngster and they are just keeping you in line. Plumbing is a great career . Prove your worth and you get more freedom and leeway . Good luck. Make it a habit to be the guy that shows up 5 min early ,not the guy everyone knows is gonna race the clock to clock in and is gonna be late if the railroad crossing is down or he gets behind a school bus.

Zimmer golden spirit shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Thats what I’m working on! I know I have to prove myself, it just gets to a point with money that it feels like he needs to lighten up Just stick it out become a master /journeyman plumber , make some money and then if it isn’t working for you look for other options of shops to work for. Bosses have to be worried about money , but the Zimmer golden spirit shirt moreover I will buy this more money he makes , the more he will be willing to pay you. I never begrudge a business owner trying to make sure we all have a successful business and a place to work. Now if he is trying to underpay you when you get there , then move on . My boss pay me well and he is happy as long as my production makes him money over my wages. NAL but I believe California is 15min after first 2hrs lunch before your 5 hr and 15 min between your last 4 hrs. Of course working in trades times varied but yes 2 15s and a 30 for a 8hr shift unless union negotiated otherwise. I know your employer is legally required to give you a lunch break (paid or unpaid) along with two 15 min breaks paid. If you’re not taking them, you’re giving away money to your boss.
