It’s even worse when it’s through a company run app, and they change it without notifying you. I’ve had this happen, and then was nearly written up for a no call no show. I’ve found that when certain industries want to get rid of employees, they do this kind of thing instead of firing them. I had been an assistant manager at a motel but turned in my notice. My boss asked me to stay on as 2nd shift GSR. But the Yuba city high school class of 2023 shirt it is in the first place but new assistant manager wanted me out. She changed up my schedule every chance she got, and I, knowing what she was doing, made sure I was available to work. One time she changed my 3-11 shift to 2am-10am, very odd schedule for a 2nd shift employee. I worked a day job too and made arrangements to have the next day off so I could work this ridiculous shift. When I never complained or even commented on the shift, she changed it from a Tuesday to a Thursday. I did call her out on that. Told her I had willingly worked my schedule even when it was outside my availability but this time I was not going with her changes because I had already made arrangements for the Tuesday schedule. I got a write up and she ‘had to cover my shift.’ After that, she would randomly change my private computer code and post it for everyone to know. If money was missing from my drawer, or guest info, put in with my code, was wrong it could have been anyone but I’m the one who got in trouble. They broke me with that one. Gave her my notice on the phone when she called and told me I wasn’t allowed to change my personal code. In the end, those jobs will walk all over the employee, treat them like and cause them to quit so they don’t have to pay unemployment.

I mean unfortunately in most states they don’t need to follow your given availability and will often either forget about it on accident or on purpose. Schedule change randomly is still unlawful a lot of places I have had jobs like this too. It’s ridiculous. Definitely not your fault or your responsibility to make sure they do their job themselves. This happened to me in my first ever job when I was 17. They fired me because apparently I have to be psychic and know when someone changes the Yuba city high school class of 2023 shirt it is in the first place but rota when i’m only in two days a week and don’t get a chance to see it in person put me off working for a while ? shitty first boss Back when I was 17 I worked fast food and this stuff happened all the time, I was not available on weekends, my parents were split and my dad had just been diagnosed with cancer. The schedule would come out for that week and later on the week, they’d change it and not tell me. One day my manager got on my ass in front of the whole store so I called her out on her BS and put my two weeks in. Ended up making more somewhere else and still got my weekends off.
