If we’re going advocate for banning things on the We Live We Love We Lie Chopper X Smurf Cat shirt in other words I will buy this grounds of them being bad for the environment there are far more harmful things to tackle first, banning meat/animal agriculture would be the biggest one, but most people aren’t ready to hear that! I think it’s a tricky one. I believe we should be doing more to help the planet, and obviously fake grass is made of plastic which we all know is bad. It also doesn’t do anything for our wildlife, which is also obviously not great. That said, it also has a lot of benefits. For people with disabilities, plastic grass gives them the opportunity to actually be able to enjoy their garden without the need to maintain it as much, which may be very difficult or impossible to do. People with severe hay fever may also opt to have fake grass so that they can be in their garden without getting all of the symptoms they normally would on regular grass. Maybe you’re just working very long hours and don’t have time to go out and maintain a garden, but you want your kids to be able to enjoy going outside without risking them falling on rocks and concrete when they’re playing. I think that ultimately, there aren’t that many homes that are using fake grass, and there are plenty of other things that are contributing to pollution that need tackling. Children’s toys, single use water bottles, unnecessary packaging of certain food items, etc.. In these cases there are workarounds that don’t really impact people’s enjoyment. Focus on making children’s toys with more sustainable items such as renewable wood, limit use of of single use bottles, rethink packaging, or at the very least use recycled materials. Banning fake grass could have very real impacts on the people who use it, limiting their options for enjoying space outside.

We Live We Love We Lie Chopper X Smurf Cat shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

It has its uses, in some circumstances (v poor/no drainage, insufficient space for lawn care equipment, insufficient light for plants etc etc etc). It is also horrible for wildlife, at least as bad as a full concrete garden – so a balance is needed for those rare occasions where it’s best and where it does harm. My choice is either fake grass or gravel as nothing grows on the We Live We Love We Lie Chopper X Smurf Cat shirt in other words I will buy this patch of layer over layer of hardcore and water logged when it rains land I’m on . So we have large pots of plants for anything living . I rented a house where the previous tenants had installed it. I ripped it up and planted wild flowers and grass. From 0 to 100 butterflies and birds in about 3months. No. Some people work full time and the last thing they want to do on their days off, apart from house work. Is fucking gardening. I hate gardening. I’m getting my entire garden slabbed and fake grass all over it. Why would people be banned from having what they want/like/find easy/can afford on their own land that they own? Absolutely pathetic. We have bigger problems. Let’s ban and enforce the ban for the sewage being pumped into streams and toxic chemicals etc first or ban not recycling. In 21st century Britain, the solution to mild inconveniences and learned problems is to ‘ban’ them. When people say ‘ban’, of course, they actually mean ‘criminalise’, and they get off on the thought of somebody being fined £1,000 or dragged into a police station for having had the temerity to own a penknife or install a few square feet of AstroTurf in the garden. I’m not even exaggerating when I say that, to me, threads like this are a symptom of a total abandonment of British society and its notions of freedom, liberty and common sense.
