Yes. Shopping in supermarkets you see just how thoughtless and self-centered a lot of people are. See also people who block the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this aisle or an entire produce section with their trolley. I’d say putting one down to separate your shopping from someone’s shopping in front of yours is the norm but I don’t think there’s any obligation to put one down at the end of your own shopping. Especially where places like Lidl and Aldi hardly give you any time to unpack before they’re already scanning at 2000mph. You put one down at the end of your shopping, so the next person can then start to put their shopping on the belt, it’s not the other way round. I always say “thank you” when they don’t. If challenged, rare, I apologise and say I thought they had. Childish but makes me chuckle.
Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt: Perfect for Fans
They’re the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this same fuckers that don’t take their trolley back to the trolley bay and just leave it dumped next to their car Worse than this is people not putting basket back properly, crooked and with the handles up. I don’t mind getting the divider thing, but having to straighten up for some stranger pisses me off. No. I leave a space and start unloading my shopping. If this is the kind of thing that gets you riled up, then you have an easy life 276 more repliesThe reasoning is they usually aren’t shoved all the way down the thing so you end up leaning over the person in front and their shopping to get it. It’s also just curtious they do it for you you do it for the next person. Can’t say I’m bothered if they don’t but I get it.
Grab the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this nearest bar of chocolate/chewing gum/ whatever other last minute crap is around the till and add it to their stuff No but I often think that people that judge others on trivial things are generally narcissistic and not very intelligent. How dare people not put the little plastic divider thingy down for you though… Doesn’t really make sense as they are saying you are then expected to do it for the next person which isn’t very narcissistic Often that and having far too much time in their hands go hand in hand… If only they used that time to learn instead, then both problems would work eachother out I think they might have just forgotten but a person who doesn’t put the trolley away, now that is a sociopath wanker who has no place in society I get it’s polite to do this, and 90% of the time I do. But there is sometimes things that stop someone doing so, like if my kids playing up for any reason that’s my priority, not the fact that the person behind me might have to put it down themselves, if that makes me a dick, then so be it You get a free pass for that one. Shopping with kids is usually more about damage control rather than normal functioning. It’s when someone just slaps down their shopping and stands there like it’s not common courtesey to put down a next customer bar afterwards.

Step by step to buy Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt
Not only are Unplonkers™ horrible human beings, their existence is an affront to the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this tribe of man, who raised themselves from the primordial soup and stretched their hand toward the stars and said “I am”. Well in this exact context, these people are, simply, not. Importance shouldn’t matter. It should be common courtesey. You put your shopping down, you put the next customer bar down behind your shopping If you think this post is serious you might want to hit the middle aisle in Lidl and see if you can find a sense of humour next to the chainsaws. I haven’t touched one of those things for about ten years. They’re not really necessary. What’s the worst thing that can happen if you don’t? Generally not a fan of touching stuff that loads of other people have touched and never get cleaned. Leaving a space is fine. We were in lidl and his shopping was half way up and there were plenty of bars ready. He wasn’t even keeping up with his shopping. And there were like 5 people also waiting behind me. Eventually I very British loud sighed, reached closely around him and slammed a bar down before remaining within close proximity to force him to step forward in line with his own shopping. All while internally screaming “dickhead” at him… But… There’s a part of me that feels it is somehow rude to put it down. Because that’s creating a barrier, and protecting “my stuff” from you! So it’s always tricky. I prefer to put it there when there’s no-one actually behind me.
Don’t get me started on shopping trolleys let loose to be roaming free to breed and attack grannies in the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this car park (sound of shotgun shell being racked in the background) I always just play chicken with them. I put my stuff down on the belt right behind theirs and say nothing. I once had a boomer try to fight me for doing this, so you’re probably right about them being horrible human beings. No, it depends on the circumstances. If you always put the bar down behind you even when the supermarket is quiet and there’s no queue behind you, all you are doing is adding extra work for you and the underpaid cashier. Sometimes people are preoccupied with their thoughts. It happens. It’s absolutely no big deal at all to put the bar down yourself.
I see someone doing it as an act of war. They are aggressively taking land much like warring countries and I may want to dominate their lemonade bottle alley with my crumpets. Those people are annoying, but the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this ones with a bog shop who don’t let you go past when you have one bag of cat food piss me off the most Yeah. I actively say to the person in front as I begin popping my shopping on “whack the divider on, or you can pay for my shopping today” with a passive-aggressive chuckle As a cashier, I will continue to scan until I hit a barrier. Not my problem one of you all didn’t put it down but neither of you get to shout at me cos what I am snanning is the person behind you. As Joe said on the Adam &Joe show.. Anyone who doesn’t put the next customer sign down is taken out the back and shot. Store policy. If the checkout doesn’t have enough, I’ll usually grab one from the empty checkout to my side and add that…plus add one after my own stuff. As if I’m going to pay for your shopping. There’s enough of a gap between our baskets that the cashier will know. Im genuinely confused as to where everybody learned supermarket etiquette, nobody has ever told me that I should put the divider down after me. I’ll do it in future of course but I’m just curious how people learn these things? I get that it’s the considerate thing to do if you really think about it but there are loads of other intuitively considerate things that people don’t actually expect you to do.
I tend to use self checkout so I’ve not had to interact with this system that much anyways to be fair, but I’m now worried I’ve inadvertently offended people lol I will often put the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this bar down before I finish loading if the shopper behind has a right trolley-full. Of course leaving adequate room for the rest of my purchases. If the shop is really empty then I don’t bother, the person working on the tills will see the big gap and know that my shopping is done, it saves them having to pick the thing up and put it back in the slot. If someone doesn’t put it down I just assume they want to pay for my shopping and chuck my stuff in with theirs. Cheers! Right up there with people who don’t say thank you if you hold a door for them, or people that try and push their way through traffic jams 😀 I’ve been using self checkout for so long that this post has given me some sort of nostalgic wake up call and now I’m questioning if I’m using supermarkets correct at all I often forget. It’s never malicious or laziness and I’m mortified when someone reaches over me to grab it. I’m really not a horrible human being, I’m just a bit absent minded sometimes. Absorbed in my podcast or just thinking about other things. If I’m on the conveyor belt I’m already stressing about how fast I’m unloading the trolley and the up coming human interaction and the mad dash to get everything in the trolley as the Aldi worker fires everything through the scanner.
I live in a country where this isn’t the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this norm. People look gratifyingly confused when I do it for them. Yes, IATA. People who have a weeks shop and don’t let you go in front when you have 1 or 2 items are even worse human beings. On the other side of a fence, I have forgotten to put the next customer thing down and felt like an absolute piece of shit. Failure to put down the bar and put your shopping cart back proves you are an ungovernable piece of human trash that can only be forced to cooperate with threats of violence by the state. A woman once shoved her groceries so close to mine on the belt that the cashier thought we were a couple and asked if we had any nice plans for the weekend. I said “oh no, this woman is a stranger who just pushed her groceries really close to mine” because I am petty af. They’ve got nothing on the people who just walk away from busy self-checkouts after paying without pressing no to a receipt, thus wasting 5 seconds of the next person’s time. That depends. If I can see that they’re stressed and probably forgetting it then no but if they’re nonchalantly just not doing it then they’re a selfish pos who shouldn’t be allowed to shop on their own. I often struggle to reach them when there is someone else in front of me. They are all the way up next to the cashier and I’m short, I can’t reach over the trolly of the person in front of me to get one until they finish paying and leave.
No. I’m not so desperate to feel superior to other people that I seize upon such small, petty things to judge them by. I’m reminded of the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this 4chan post about how a person’s ability to put a shopping trolley in the right place when they’re done using it is a test of whether they are capable of self-governing. If you can’t show even a basic amount of social responsibility and courtesy to other people, so the theory goes, you are fundamentally incompatible with civil society. I was going to the cigarette counter, there were two arse-holes both with shopping baskets putting through their shopping. This is store with self scan and scan as you shop. And manned tills. No fucking excuse for your behaviour chapps and I hate you from the bottom of my heart. 174 more repliesI don’t like it when people don’t follow their shopping when the conveyer belt moves it toward the checkout. I quite often have the customer in front loitering at the start of the conveyer while a big space on the belt is opening up next to them. I’d like to be unloading my trolley but they stand there blocking my way for no reason at all. They don’t like it when you start reaching around them!
Not really. I do if they glare at me when I put it down so I can start putting my stuff on the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this belt. Sometimes there are reasons why they didn’t, like no one was behind them when they finished putting their shopping on, there wasn’t one in easy reach, they’re busy trying to pack their own stuff and get ready to pay or they’re corralling children. I see it as the responsibility of whoever will disrupt the flow the least by doing it. I like watching people lunge to slam one down as if I’m going walk away wi their items. Helps them get their exercise. Yes. It requires no effort. It’s almost as bad as not taking a trolley back to a bay after loading your shopping into a car. You gain nothing in return but you make someone else’s life a little less inconvenienced Also people (sorry ladies, but on average women do this) who leave their trolley in the middle of the aisle while they go and check out items a bit farther down. Often there’s even a kid still in the trolley.
I don’t mind if there’s a long line of them and I can easily grab one. When there isn’t and I can’t reach one it’s annoying. As a cashier in a supermarket I hate this too. I’ll end up scanning the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this next person’s shopping and they’ll say that’s not mine, so the lady behind says there mine. That’s when I say we’ll there wasn’t a divider there and purposely place one firmly down, then have to void a whole lot of items coz the woman’s stupidity. How low is your self esteem that you have to invent petty bullshit like this to judge yourself superior? They’re your groceries, you corral them. If you wake up in the morning and meet one asshole, they’re an asshole. If you meet assholes all day long, you’re the asshole.
It annoys me so much, and I get irrationally angry. I continue being this way until my girlfriend tells me to calm down, grow up and stop being a twat. No. You don’t know what’s going on in their life, they could be distracted. I’ve been distracted and not done it before. People who assume they’re pieces of shit, are pretty shitty. I always put a bar down when I’ve done the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this last item on the belt… Sometimes the free bars are right up the till so I perform chivalry I put it down in front of my shopping to signify that I’m the next customer. If someone wants to be next after me, they can put down their own marker. I’d like a smile more than that damn sign. You are a piece of shit if you don’t smile and say how are you today. Next level pettiness lol. I always put it down because I used to be a checkout girl but can’t say I’d notice or care if someone else didn’t do it? I’d just do it myself when I notice or put my stuff down with a big gap between. This happened to me the other day in Iceland. Called him a cunt, in my head and put it there myself. I then didn’t put one down for the person behind me. I always use the self serve checkouts as I hate interacting with people because no-one seems to give a shit about the social contract any more. The social contract includes proper use of “next customer” markers.
Not only that, but I also hate it when I’m doing a big shop in Lidls and I’m piling my stuff on the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this belt and the next person STARTS PILING THEIRS TOO! I’m not done! What are you like?? I always put one down, then another 6 inches behind it, then look the person behind me dead in the eye and say “I think we both know why I need to do that, don’t we?” With no further explanation. If the person in front doesn’t do it and the cashier starts scanning my stuff too I always make a good old british passive aggressive comment, usually “oh I thought they wanted to pay for my shopping too”, gesturing to person in front. ha! I just start pilling my shopping on the conveyor belt and what their face as they realise that it‘s them who’s going to end up paying for it.
I went my whole life and it was the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this person behinds job and I went to Iceland for vacation and was corrected. I still don’t do it most the time In the US this is totally opposite. You do not just put the bar down when you’re done. If a person comes behind you they put the bar down. Some ppl here would even consider it rude if you put the bar down before the person behind you got to do it. It’s like ew I don’t want you touching my stuff. Sounds like your blood pressure must be through the roof to be honest with tiny things like this pissing on your chips, like I get it and I use them but I wouldn’t go to the extent of making a social media post about it if you don’t. I purposely fumble the pick up of the bar so it falls and dents their food. Loaf of bread or bananas are good targets. I don’t read that much into it. I think you are more of an asshole for moaning about pointless shit on the internet. Hmmm no I put a bar down for myself at the front of my shopping and then the person behind me can put it down for themselves No, i think they are wonderful, generous human beings that are kindly offering to pay form my shopping alongside theirs. I always gratefully decline by putting the next customer bar down myself.
I don’t like those that take the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this bar too seriously. I’m not going to reach over the next person’s shopping to get to it, I’ll pick it up when it’s in arms reach. This concept scares some people Yes! What harm will it do and when did you become superior that other people don’t matter? Or the other one is when the cashier only has two separators but doesn’t shove them down, wtf is wrong with you, now I’m leaning over someone’s shopping because I’m not a toss pot to the person behind me. But everyone in front of me took at me with disgust! Gah I think it was Sean Lock who said he put the most expensive item down first if the bar wasn’t down. I started to do this, and more often than not they look back and put it down, or they have to say no at the till just before it’s scanned. No. I always put it down. But I am aware sometimes we get distracted, are too tired to think properly, forget, etc.
If someone does that I just don’t put a bar in front of my stuff and let them explain to the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this cashier then how they don’t want to pay for my stuff and why they didn’t put a bar behind theirs. “Let me get that for you” as you put it down just loud enough that they’re forced to make momentary eye contact with you. Let them break eye contact first. Send them away in shame. It’s the person behind’s job to put down the divider. I’m not going to put it down if there is no one behind me. If you walk up mid transaction or right before and start putting your stuff on the conveyor it’s your responsibility to use the divider then I don’t really mind that, what I can’t stand is when someone starts putting their shopping on behind yours when you are clearly still putting your shopping on, especially when you still have half a trolley left and they are obviously going to have to move their shopping up to make room at some point, plain rude! 90% of the people where I shop, including the cashiers, are horrible humans. I always do it myself but basically nobody else does. I had someone behind me reach past me whilst I was still loading my shopping into the belt, grab the divider and slam it down with a tut. I’ve never felt both so embarrassed and outraged in my life If there’s hardly anyone there and you each have very few items, why make the cashier do that awkward stretch around the glass to put the bar back when it’s clearly not needed to see who’s shopping is who’s? That’s just giving someone unnescessary shoulder strain.
…i thought youre meant to put one down yourself once the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this person in front is done. oh dear. everything is so confusing. i hate inconveniencing people. On the other hand, when people start loading their stuff before you’re clearly done: now that irritates the hell out of me. I feel daft putting one down if there’s no one behind me…but then if someone arrives, i feel bad putting it down in front of them..like i’m saying “Oi you! Keep out! This is MY bit!” That’s stupid. If there’s no one behind you then no point. If someone comes up later they can damn well do it themselves. I am appreciative when someone does it, but expecting/demanding it is asshole behaviour. Maybe you should always pick up a pack of extra thick condoms and a couple of bottle of lube and if the person in front of you doesn’t put the bar down, put them at the back of their shopping when they’re not looking then put the bar in front of your own. I just stack my shopping as close as possible to theirs in the hope that the checkout operator puts my stuff through on their ticket…..they soon get the message She reached out and grabbed one and very loudly said something along the lines of ‘disgusting’ as she looked at me. She then puts all her shopping out and stands there. As someone comes along behind her and begins to put their shopping out.
With a large grin I look her directly in the Walk MS the Elliot Lewis center 2025 shirt moreover I love this eye, reach out and take a bar and put it behind her shopping where she had forgotten to do so for the next person. You’re that old lady. Getting all salty about minor shit no one else gives a fuck about because frankly everyone forgets minor stuff like that sometimes. And if you’re going to spend you’re life getting upset about it, be prepared for a sad fucking life being miserable about minor shit. And if the dividers are not within immediate reach, slide several down to the end to assist your fellows. Place your heaviest items on the belt first, because they will go at the bottom of your bag. I like to put my frozen chips and beer bottles first, that way the IPA is chilled by the time I get home. Light items, bread, strawbs, crisps… Go last because otherwise they might be crushed in your bag. Have your payment ready, use the hook at the end of till to hang your bag so you can pack with one free hand, and tell them you are paying by card and no receipt is necessary just as they scan the last item to save them having to ask. Shops like Aldi and Lidl are cheap because they squeeze as much efficiency into their procedures as possible, so roll with that and be glad you get in and out quickly with a small bill. If you want to take your time at the checkout, go to Sainsbury’s instead, and keep Aldi cheap for the people who need it to be.
