Call in you gave him plenty of notice. you’re going on a trip, you will not be around. It’s his job to figure it out “My PTO dates aren’t me asking for time off, they’re just adequate time for you to plan for me not being here. Your lack of planning is not my problem.” You say you are a good employee and go above and beyond? I really want you to read that sentence again and then read what your awesome boss who is such a good person is doing to you. Its a job. If you leaving is that damaging to the Vintage David Bowie And The Spiders From Mars Concert T-Shirt and I love this business, maybe you should be compensated to reflect that? But honestly, if you are that good at your job, understand your worth and know that you are just as valuable (possibly more) to another employer. If he fires you, consider it a blessing and take your talents somewhere they are appreciated.

Vintage David Bowie And The Spiders From Mars Concert T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

This is why I always give a huge amount of advanced notice if I’m taking vacations. If I tell you 6+ months in advance, then you have no excuse for not coming up with a plan to cover me. It’s not my Vintage David Bowie And The Spiders From Mars Concert T-Shirt and I love this responsibility to make a plan to cover, it’s my bosses job. I once gave nearly a years notice that I needed 3 weeks off for vacation and my boss tried to tell me 3 weeks before my vacation that he didn’t think he could let me be out that long. I said well let’s go to HR and talk about it because I gave you nearly a 1 year notice. If you didn’t come up with a plan in that amount of time then thats your problem. I basically dared him to deny my vacation because I knew for a fact that HR would back me on giving a 1 year notice.
