Second, clarify what he means by an open relationship. Does he want a dedicated third we’re both involved in? Is there another couple he wants to partner with? Open swinging with whoever catches his/my/our eye? Third is really pound out the Viking Ship Polyptych Scandinavian Art T-Shirt in contrast I will get this rules. I’m actually pro-open relationship, so depending on what his expectations are, I can absolutely roll with it and have fun. I would just need to make sure the rules are fair, the same for both of us, and explicitly spelled out long before we try anything. When I found out my spouse was cheating, I felt so angry and powerless I just blurted out that he was free to see other people. I told him since he had cheated we should just open up our relationship. (I had no intention of actually doing it, I was just so mad) He froze. He said there was NO WAY he would agree to that… He apologized profusely for cheating and committed to going to counseling with me and swore he would stop seeing her and would do whatever it took to regain my trust. That was 8 years ago. We are still together, he has been extremely open about his schedule and has no lock on his phone, no social media, is always where he is supposed to be and things are good. If he asked me to open our relationship… After infidelity, I would be gone. And so would half of his retirement account.

Been there and no. Wouldn’t do it again. You need a very strong relationship to do it and you both need to want it. Unless you both actively want it it will fail horribly. I have no hangups about sex but there does need to be boundaries that everyone agrees on and follows. If my Viking Ship Polyptych Scandinavian Art T-Shirt in contrast I will get this partner asked for a 3 some or something with me included I’d probably be down if people involved aren’t assholes, but never doing poly or open ever again. Its just way too much emotional strain to maintain. Honestly, I don’t know. Is that something you can plan for? I feel like you won’t know how you’ll react until it happens. Well it all boils down to his wife is a piece of shit. And mentally sick to choose a dangerous prisoner over a husband who loved her.
