There is no dish called “curry” in India. I’ve seen non-Indians use Curry powder and as an Indian I’m really curious to know what curry powder is actually made of. Curry, is just an umbrella term used outside of India to describe a dish, made of spices and vegetables, eaten with bread (Roti) or rice. I can assure you, if you’re in India, and you ask for curry, they’ll give you a menu containing 100 dishes all with different bases and different vegetables and different methods of preparation.
