Tulane Green Wave Snoopy Monster Truck Tee

Tulane Green Wave fan gear

This tee is for Tulane University alumni, students, and college football fans who want to show school spirit with a humorous twist. It blends collegiate pride with classic Peanuts character apparel by placing Snoopy behind the wheel of a monster truck. The design captures the energy of game day while offering a funny sports shirt option that stands out from standard university fan gear. Whether you are heading to Yulman Stadium or watching from home, this piece connects New Orleans Saints fans and Tulane supporters through shared local enthusiasm and iconic cartoon nostalgia.

Design details

The graphic features Snoopy wearing a green football helmet and sunglasses, driving a large green monster truck with “Tulane” branding on the tires. He holds a flagpole with a waving green and white striped flag that reads “Tulane Green Wave.” This playful mashup prints directly onto a black t-shirt, creating high contrast that makes the colors pop. The artwork combines the rugged appeal of a monster truck with the recognizable charm of the Peanuts comic strip, resulting in a unique visual that appeals to both sports enthusiasts and cartoon collectors.

Material and fit

Made from soft black cotton fabric, this shirt offers comfortable wear for long tailgate sessions or casual daily use. The screen-printed graphics use durable ink in green, white, yellow, and grey tones that resist cracking and peeling over time. The cut provides a standard fit suitable for most body types, ensuring the design sits correctly across the chest without bunching. Care instructions recommend washing cold and drying low to maintain the integrity of the print and the softness of the cotton blend.

Is this an official licensed Tulane product?

No, this is not officially licensed merchandise. It is a fan-made design featuring public domain characters and university themes. The artwork uses Tulane Green Wave colors and motifs alongside Snoopy imagery to create a tribute-style piece rather than an authorized NCAA product. Buyers should understand this distinction when purchasing for gift-giving purposes where brand authenticity might be expected.

What size should I order for a comfortable fit?

Order your usual size for a standard fit. These tees run true to size according to general apparel standards. If you prefer a looser look for layering during cooler October weather, consider sizing up one step. Check the specific size chart provided at checkout for exact chest and length measurements to ensure the best match for your body type before finalizing your purchase.

Does the green color fade after washing?

The print uses high-quality ink that resists fading when washed cold and dried low. Proper care keeps the Tulane green vibrant through many laundry cycles. Avoid using bleach or high heat settings, as these can degrade the screen-printed layers faster than normal wear. Following basic garment care guidelines will help preserve the bright green and white stripes of the flag design on the black cotton background.

Can I wear this to tailgating events?

Yes, this durable cotton tee is ideal for game day tailgates, campus wear, or casual outings for any Tulane supporter. The breathable fabric handles outdoor activity well, making it suitable for standing around grills or cheering in the stadium. Its humorous design serves as a conversation starter among fellow fans and alumni gathering to celebrate college football traditions during the autumn season.
