At least that’s what I sense is the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but plan in the works right now from right-wing politicians, either at the state level or nationally. Wings are going to fall off planes because the kids won’t pay attention to the directions or the fact that they left a million necessary screws laying around. This problem isn’t new. I would argue we are already seeing the impacts. The entire MAGA/Q Anon/Republican base is what the impact is. Hopefully it won’t get much worse than that but…I’m not optimistic. My observation from 40 years of teaching….Their parents and even grandparents started the slide in education. No repercussion or accountability for not applying themselves to their education. Passed-on, just to keep them at grade level with their peers. Students’ misbehaviors are not held accountable. Judges, county attorneys and county commissioners are not willing or financially able to address truancy. Dysfunctional parents and kids are “running the show.”
The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt, hoodie, long sleeve, v-neck tee
Maga, a rise in illiterate adults, people who only know how to scream communicate, lack of intelligent government workers, heavy reduction in available teachers, voting that leads to a reduction in personal freedoms, and a ruling class that sees education as a negative. Uhm…you realize we are already seeing the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but results, right? Look at our current political leaders, realize who votes for them, then put 2 and 2 together.Nobody wants to work anymore will become who the fuck are we gonna hire if nobody can literally count, read, comprehend or conversate, its not like itll be the boomers version where people minding their own business working cant meet the expectations of some random asshole in costco, itll be entire industries supplementing the basic skills people used to learn in school for other businesses, no more personal accountability or freedom from prying technological eyes under the guise of work, in other words, motherfuckin capitalism baby ready to cover the morons we forgot we left behind.
Multilevel Marketing where girlboss doesn’t notice she’s not pulling in the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but cash… cryptobro’s who think the odds are in their favour. The future is already here. I’ve been a university prof for over a decade and am going back to re-train to teach literacy to any age. So. Let’s go. Let’s see what we can do. Ph.D.s, MAs, and anyone who cares. National security is one area that has already been impacted. A lot of young adults who are otherwise able to serve cannot pass the ASVAB which is fairly easy. This has caused the Army to create units with former educators to teach young adults who want to enlist but can’t pass the test. I thought that movie where the guy wakes up after being frozen for a hundred years and is the smartest person on Earth was such a dumb premise, but now it feels like a Simpsons level omen. Maybe I’m paranoid but I feel like everyone is going to plug in and tune out the world around them, letting content and machines do all the thinking instead. Sort of like the book Feed, which ironically my high school English teacher had us read and it changed my perspective on life. I guess I’m doing the same right now, but I do make it a point to try to get at least 8k steps outside a day and do thoughtful hobbies like read/draw/write. I’m worried about these kids that have been watching since they were sucking on a pacifier, the real world must seem so bleak to them. I understand why they may feel that way, but the work to find the beauty is so worth it.

Some information about The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt
This heavily depends where in academics OP is targeting. Most work doesn’t need a degree to begin with. So less competent students in an education environment doesn’t translate to the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but work place. If it’s at a high school level, trade schools don’t require much for entry as you’ll learn what’s needed there. Same for military entry, they will find a spot for you based on evaluation. Now, if it’s elementary education, sadly this is the hardest as the cascading effect is tremendous in the early years. Basic reading and writing are requirements regardless of where you are headed in life. The maths and sciences are creeping into more industry but standards are also accounting for failsafes and limiting points of failure through engineering and administrative controls. The earlier the failures in a child’s education, the far greater impact later on in life. And that’s a real sad thing
The US will continue to import educated people (nurses, teachers, medical doctors, engineers) so that the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but US can function An educated population supports Democratic processes. Ignorance, a lack of self awareness, a lack of accountability, and a lack of an ability to think critically makes a population ripe for manipulation by a demagogue who wants totalitarian rule. Kind of like what’s happening right now with a significant portion of the population. So it seems to me we are already seeing what will happen. This will likely continue to get worse and will not sustain a democratic government. Outsourced education and AI. America will need to relax its immigration standards to get top talent from other nations that have better education systems in order to be able to continue to compete. Advancement of AI unfortunately will need to happen relatively quickly in order to account for the some of the decline in labor quality. In theory raising taxes on corporations, paying teachers more, improving education facilities, and focusing on safety and respect within the school system among children, parents, and teacher would be a good first step. However, these things will not happen any time soon given the shortsightedness of many.
The real crisis is when this generation of students needs to be the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but next generation of parents and teachers. iPad kids raising AiPad kids. You’ve already been seeing it. This has been the problem for decades. Previous generations didn’t think it was important to secure education for future generations among many other things. You don’t take care of your democracy the devils will. Very gullible generation as well, so eager to please authority no matter what the ask is. Let’s not forget to mention the IQ differences with the “new Americans” coming in. It’s going to get a lot worse. You know that scene in wall-e where they teach with a computer in front of them and it’s a lady on a screen? Yeah that.
They’ll be under-employable. They won’t be outright unemployable, mind you. But many won’t want to take a chance on the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but Covid generation and those who do will undervalue their employment. I’ve wondered if the pendulum will swing back because they will see their prospects diminish. We often comment that the children of recent immigrants have so much motivation to succeed because they have seen first hand how education transforms lives. If the gaps in society widen, maybe this will be a reality for others. For myself, teaching in Australia, I think this is less likely because we have a much stronger welfare safety net here. They can observe that mum and dad never work and they have a Switch and are taking a holiday to Bali later in the year.
But in all reality, we are now seeing the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but effects in schools. Society will be dumbed down and hypersexualized like it’s already been. I pray for a greater world, I’m thankful I teach in a small community where values and morals are pushed onto the kids by parents and in the schools. However, there are some cases where thar isn’t the case. It’s truly a frightening time to be alive because we are witnessing the downfall of society and public education. We are already living it! Look around! My god if the support of the fascist right wing party doesn’t convince you, what will? We always need to keep in mind that part of the issue with comparing education today to education in previous generations is that in the United States, education has never been as democratized as it is today. When you include more students, you’re always going to have more problems. Also, the “type” of student that was excluded previously is the type that “lowers” education now. In the boomer days, children of color attended school at significantly lower numbers. If a child had a behavioral or learning disorder, they didn’t go to school or they didn’t finish. Poor kids of any color often dropped out of school early and went into working class fields, learning on the job. Basically, the “hard to teach” kids were mostly excluded, so teaching looked great. Now we live up to the 14th amendment and strive to provide all children with a good education, so it’s a struggle.
I think the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but problem is how we evaluate “failure” in education. If I have a student getting straight D’s who can read (even if below grade level) despite being one of the sources of income for his family, the free-babysitter, the dinner chef, and the one trying to teach his brothers and sisters how to read, whose mother can’t read or write in any language, and does not have a high school diploma, I see that child as a monumental success. Unfortunately, NCLB sees that kid as a failure, and sees my school as a failure for producing those outcomes, not considering all the circumstances I described. For that kid, he’s probably going to reproduce some of the outcomes of the previous generation (lower income job, young pregnancy, some level of public assistance, inability to manage or save money, etc.), but my goal is to get him to be able to break some of those. In urban Ed and special Ed, that’s pretty much the goal. Y’all see those movies of Michelle Pfeiffer sending kids to college, so anything below that is a failure… but I’m just trying to get these kids a step above what their parents had to go through.
Underfunded schools and teachers is obviously a concern, but that’ll probably sort itself out. They need us to babysit their kids so they can work and pay their bills, so teachers are pretty well positioned to negotiate better wages… we just need more unionization in the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but red states. Colleges are still turning people away and pumping out degrees, so to answer your question: rich kids will keep succeeding and poor kids will keep struggling. It’s exactly what the die hard capitalists want….a full generation of unskilled labor to exploit. It was all part of the plan. AI, robotics, and still cheap labor in developing countries means that you don’t need formal education of the majority of the populace, because there won’t be enough jobs for most people even if they were well-educated.
It’s sad, but we just don’t need that many educated people anymore. We’re heading back to having a huge lumpenproletariat. Kids at 15-17 do not understand that they need to get an education or else they’re going to face a ton of difficulties. To be honest with you, I know quite a few Gen Alpha students who excel at critical thinking – just not in the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but classroom. They use it socially and in their jobs instead because they’re motivated to do so. We are ALREADY in a pandemic of stupidity with Baby Boomers and Gen X rigging the economy and ruining the environment. Gen Alpha has zero desire to excel in a system that boomers created. Millennials and Gen X suspected that all those quizzes and tests weren’t actually preparing them for the real world. Gen Z and therefore Gen Alpha 100% know it. Most people will never use calculus, chemistry or Shakespeare. It breaks my heart to say it, but they won’t. School curriculum needs to be completely rewritten to address Gen Alpha’s actual needs. Replace the science of chemistry with the sciences of mental health, nutrition, relationships, psychology, conflict resolution, addiction. Replace calculus with taxes, 401Ks, savings, investing and how mortgages work. Don’t replace Shakespeare but just let kids READ without testing them to death. Get rid of graphic novels and let kids actually interact with words.
And without chemistry and calculus where is our future scientific and engineering going to come from? Guess we can just keep importing that… Most people don’t seem to understand that they are technically “grown up” at 18. For many kids that just a couple of years away. We’re already feeling the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but effects of this. Fascism. They want kids to be dumb so they join the military or work or get shot by police, they don’t want people asking questions or helping anyone. I already see effects on the low paying jobs in my area. The jobs that are typically held by high school students and fresh graduates. The fast food quality is way down but has become more expensive. I see stores start to close now because No one wants to spend 15 dollars on a poorly made burger from Carl’s Jr. Shitty quality work, economic crash, and something far worse than the GI generation witnessed during the great depression You do realize that this is the second generation of exactly the same problems in education, right? Look around you… we’re already seeing the consequences….. The rise of fascism will hit the next generation of voting adults HARD. I don’t doubt that lead in the munitions of WW1 led to a difficulty with reasoning and analysis along with increased aggression helped set the stage for the rise of fascism in Europe.
The next Hitler, young and charismatic with an eye on which group they can persecute without backlash, is learning from Trump, looking around at his constituents and knows that he just needs to be a bit smarter than the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but median, which is a shockingly low bar. It’s a small sample size but it seems like the high schoolers that are politically tuned in are more and more on the right, which is definitely different from when I was a kid in the same district. Widening the divide of haves and have nots. The kids with structure and educated parents at home will be okay. Kids with really well of parents will thrive. Kids without either? Little hope. We’re seeing it now. Undereducated folks are angry and have few defenses against simple manipulation without critical thinking skills led by greedy egomaniacs. I have found that when you are angry, you don’t evaluate or problem solve effectively. In our disposable society, along with a lack of media literacy ruled only by emotion just try to destroy everything and trust the wrong people. (run-on, I know).
Probably the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but justification of paying them less in conjunction with taking advantage of them given their inability to understand the difference. Mass homelessness as a majority of people will be unemployable and/or unable to hold a job. Apartments and housing will sit vacant and rot as rents are too unaffordable. Life expectancy will drop as death is the poor man’s doctor. The American society will crumble as you’ll have something like 20% upper class and 80% in poverty. No middle class. Total chaos will follow. Seems like it’s an impending civil war but maybe I’m being extreme. Tell me I’m wrong. I agree with the poster who suggested an expanding education gap. One that, I assume, will be largely tied to wealth. I also think we’re going to see an even more extended adolescence. I’m not sure how that will play out in the job market but it’s pretty clear that adolescents and young adults are not making decisions or behaving the way we used to expect from 15-25 year olds. College and high school are both seeing an increase in students taking 5 years to graduate. Might this continue? People in various fields are complaining about the ability of new graduates to work independently so perhaps internship semesters will become more common? More political extremism and susceptibility to propaganda. Little or no awareness of science when it comes to voting on women’s rights issues or climate issues.
Our education system isn’t going to get better until we stop voting in capitalists who only serve their donors. We still pretend like human civilization had always had compulsory education for all for the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but last 20 centuries. . . We’ve actually only had it for 1, and it’s still filled with inequities. If you didn’t notice massive problems when you were young, it’s because we were doing a lot mor marginalization of bad behavior, poor effort, and low intelligence. We are still in the experimental phases of this whole “educate everybody” model and maybe it just doesn’t work. I prefer to see the rising tides of human flourishing contingent are, and have always been, founded on good old m-fashioned economic stability and social mobility, which was once ascendant along with public education . . . But has now stagnated or gone backwards. I think the state of public education is just the canary in the coal mine for the greater social and economic ills of the lower/working classes that plague western civilization at the present time.
Idk but I feel like being in this country in the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but 2030s and beyond is setting yourself up to lose your mind or your life on some real senseless shit. I’m setting up to get the fuck outta here and I would recommend for everyone to do the same Think about Dystopian Detroit from Robocop, but it’s everywhere. Education for the sake of making rich people richer and poor people suffer while local, state, and federal governments work to protect the rich and criminalize poverty. That’s what awaits us with a poorly educated population. Basically just the continuation of the left asking for more government handouts and a moral degradation of society. Adults have failed the youth The US will continue to fall further and further behind the rest of the world, and only be able to have educated foreign professionals at higher levels.
Watch “Idiocracy” and find out. It’s no coincidence that when creating costumes for this dystopian future movie they choose an up and coming plastic shoe maker that they thought looked ugly, stupid, and a touch futuristic. That brand was Crocs and now phase one is complete. Low college enrollment or kids spending far more money and time at college due to having to repeat everything, not having nearly as many skilled laborers or ppl with advanced skills as needed. Lots of adults are gonna wind up living at home with their parents unable to keep a job. I forsee a continuing divide in the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but economic classes. The wealthy who can send thier children to private school or live in well to do areas with decent public schools will be sending thier kids to college mostly debt free. They will go on to be the money makers and most likely inheritors of wealth and property. While the upper middle class, middle class, and lower classes have their children in average to war zone school systems. The type of jobs available to these kids do not match inflation. Most of their families are already struggling and most likely they will see thier kids living with them well into adulhood and everyone living paycheck to paycheck. Was it ever much better than now? If so when? In the 50’s? The 60’s? The 70’s? The products of the “golden age” of education are the same people who have been in charge for the last 40 years. Are people going to think “longterm” is a word? Are the students of today going to use the same poor sentence structure as the OP? Yet, the spelling and grammatical errors in the question didn’t hinder the readers ability to understand the question OP was asking…so should we even care? Realistically, I’m not sure we know enough about what the near future holds to prepare this generation of students for the world they’ll live in as adults or to judge whether our efforts are failing or succeeding.
They are going to pay more to get an education. The amount of additional education classes they will need to take to hit the The Eagles Abbey Road thank you for the memories signatures Shirt it is in the first place but minimum bar is going to be very expensive, and most of the time not count towards their degree. Personally, I think you’re going to see a lot of dismissed and belittled kids win the day. The ADHDers, the autists, the disabled kids who get ignored as long as they sit still… they are the only ones reading for pleasure, learning things for fun, and focusing long enough on whatever skill tickles their fancy to learn something about it. In fact, the only kids learning these days are the ones teaching themselves, most of y’all just don’t know how to teach them. In 5, 10, 15 years, the “educated” kids are not going to be employable.
